Great! Just absolutely marvellous! Animals in uniforms (unworhthy of such), rather than protecting innocent citizens, see it's fitting to torture innocent people.
Kieran Herman and mother, Cheryl Wilkie, file suits against the police officers in question and the police force in particular, and the Government in general.
Get yourselves a good lawyer(s) and file suits against those ANIMALS...
Yes! It is time for for the public to start standing up for their rights...Since when do we "Torture"?,
The Government should inform the police that they should never use such force on an animal farless a human being. I say to Mr.Herman and his Mom...Should file suits against the so called R.S.L.P.F. Don't be like the ones that have gone through hell from them and afraid to stand-up. You have your democratic rights, like every other citizen...It time the police pay for their wrong doings.
Days gone back to when Saint Lucia had a good and honest Police Force,Now all the police force do is corrupt the system. The ones in high positions in the force are not any better then the ones patrolling the streets, They all eat tax payers money, fight each others, corrupt the system,They are the ones who have the young people selling drugs and of cause we all know that they love to use their guns, So with that once they put you in their vehicles they are quick to maake death threats.
I say it's time to teach them a lesson of their own.
It is high time that something be done about the behaviour of law enforcement even when detaining those guilty of committing a crime.Does abusing someone who has committed a crime make you feel that you are doing the right thing? Will it be a too far off idea for you to apply this force without a second thought even in situations where there is absolutely no need for them like in trying to pry a digital camera from a student of Sir Arthur who recorded you threatening one of her classmates for throwing water balloons or have you already gotten to this stage as seen by the awestruck students.
This is un acceptable behaviour! I can just imagine how frightened this young man was and to know that the very same people who suppose to be protecting citizens of SLU are the very ones people are needing protection from. I do hope the authorities take action against those men who have disgraced the profession. To Cheryl and her son I say The Lord will see justice done.
the problem is that most st.lucians have a problem with the way police officers do their job whether from ssu , want to tell officers how to go about doing their job, most of us lucians are hypocrites, hear nothing ,say nothing and when the officers go about doing their job we have a problem
good jib officers and keep it up , cause most of us lucians are involved in crime wether directly or on directly and support criminal activities of all sort in our communities and say police doesnt do their job when youll know the culprits of such crimes
Animals!! The lot of them!! Why, this young man and his mom should see that justice is served, even to the point of seeing those animals in "uniform" are taken to hell in a hand basket!! (Lawsuits)...
Of course, why expect anything more, when the whole S. King cabinet is filled with ministers with questionable characters and dealings - alledged under invoincing; selling medical records; serving jail time in US prisons, stole cars, assumed someone else's identity; tax evasion; and the list goes on and on, endless; even...
Another "bad boy" taught a lesson at the hands of the law, too much of these trouble makers around the place. Lets hope other trouble makers learn a lesson from this.
Well, you may call him a bad boy. but don't you think that the police/SSU should stick to the law? "Innocent until proven guilty" too many times too often the police take the law into their own hands before seeking justice within the courts.
Now I want to see them pay for their actions!
The police cannot clean the streets when they themselves are sooooo currupt.
St.Lucia looks like the only place in the world where the police do not know of the "Miranda Rights", They need to be taught a lesson....Because one of these days someone will sue their asses for the what they can't afford.
I think the Commis himself needs to go back to training along with the department that hire those un-educated jack-asses. The government need to invest some money in training the police.
They need to know that not reading someone their rights is "definitely illegal", and with that they are putting themselves in big trouble.
So before thinking they can discipline the citizens they should look deep within their departments.
Again have a heart. This young man has a heart problem, what in hell were the SSU thinking?, True the RSLPF are a group of "CRIMINALS" but they should not shame the country that way.
Were those comments and insults really necessary? "A real man" do not go about insulting people, but rather decipher issues logically, arriving or summarizing informed decisions or opinions.
And you call yourself a real man!! Right? Like a writer rightfully suggests, why didnt the police read the young man his Miranda Rights?... No matter how bad, innocent until proven guilty. Was he guilty of any crime, and if so, who arrive at that conclusions, based on what facts? Come on man, if you are commenting, please do so in an unbias manner, so that readers may learn issues, facts and logics hitherto unaware of.
But please refrain from the name callings and insults. It is the young man's rights to keep his hair any styles he wishes to. No one gives you the rights to interfer in his "Democratic and fundamental rights"...so I suggest you just buzz off!!
"Yes, That CID So-called supervisior tried to get me in bed some years ago,That was went I returned (home) St.Lucia, But he should call hisself lucky,I had just two day left in St.Lucia.
Not a good report, nor good comments on their behalf. Sad really. It's like some of them sniff the starch in thier shirts and it goes to their heads. Unmanaly animals is just aboutright from my experience. Have had stuff confiscated by them and sold, given away, and never returned to the rightful owner. Have seen one , in uniform chatting up a school girl friend by the side of the road, and being really rude to me, to go away, stopping me from talking to this kid to get her away from him. Sad really that those who are employed to serve and protect are the perpertrators themselves. Not good at all.
Lawyers? You're having a laff mate, they are more criminal than the police. They have this minimum fee of $500, everything they do for you is that amount of money, but it never gets done! Most times some one who has graduated from "prep" could do a better job. Criminals...all of them. So when is some one gonna do somthing about them? This present Government? I would not hold my breath mate.

I would have to agree with the comment which says most st lucians are hypocrites. Everywhere individuals blame police officers do something they feel that shouldnt be done. When something happens and the police does nothing, the police is still blamed. They are the ones who sometimes call the police, and at the end still blame them for what is done. Police officers are human being just like us. I do not know the story, so i am not blaming anyone. It is true there is police brutality everywhere, but we must also ask questions and get info. from both sides.

Now Keiran will think twice before getting himself involved in disagreements with anyone.
Way to go SSU officers.
Teach more youngsters a lesson to remember.

The St.Lucia Police Force are a disgrace to the Island.
They are nothing but group of perpetrator.
If you fail to discipline your children at home, then the police will do it for you.

be sure you police officers in st lucia ssu who torture people have it coming
Funny how Kieran forgot about his heart problem when he was fighting the other guy, but remembered it after Police beat him.
Lushan cops perform miracles, they are magicians.
Kieran, brush your teeth, shave your beard and be a man.
