Things like water, electrification, roads etc are basic things that a government is elected to provide. It is not something that the people must feel eternally indebted to any government for.

We elect them to provide those basic thing.

Indeed, Anonymous May 8, 2009 4:09 AM - Basic neccesities such as pipe borned water, electricity, et al are not privileges but OUR RIGHTS. Therefore, this super maroon Minister prancing around, as if he is God's gift to St Lucia, since sliced bread; makes me sick to my stomach - I could vomit, even.

Not only did we elected those super maroons; but we are PAYING TAXES for these basic RIGHTS. Your hear, Minister Maroon, WE ARE PAYING TAXES FOR THE RIGHTS PROVIDED. So just stop it. Instead you should educate your constituents about their basic rights...You are your lot are a disgrace to St Lucia.

God help us....

Mr. Rene Lucien, a computer specialist, how did become involve in running that project? What's going on here with our media people. Why is Mr. Montoute and company allowed operate under the radar without being detected?
