I don't know if all this just seem rel horrific to me as I over seas now or if it is the same as it has always been. St. Lucia always had the crime but it seem like alot more gun violence. Not to say the chopping not happening still I guess it just not making the papers. Not trying to be pessimistic either but when I was younger there wasn't anything anybody could tell me to make me stop doing what I was doing. When you doing "big people things"(sex, drugs, alcohol) you don't want anybody to tell you what to do because you consider yourself a "big man. ou jha grande nom" So I doubt there is much the police and the government can do to directly stop the crime as opposed to prevent the crime commiting of future generations. Those right now just need to come to the realization that this life is a purposeless life and the youths need better role models and a glimmer of hope that there is "something" waiting for them when they get older. Not unemployment and prejudice due to appearance and background. Been there done that you know. Thanks to Jah I make it through but I know the youths just frustrated. They have nothing to do which is worthwhile. To play off and old proverb "Idle minds are the Devils playground"...BLESSINGS

13 Years old. The mother need to sit in jail as well.

When all this was taking place where was the mother? Look at what St.Lucia has become....
That child need to pay for her doing not as a child but as an adult, Since I bet she was smart to do the crime she must now save the time.
"Jail her ass and throw the keys"
