Bring back the British coppers because obviously Saint Lucia can't do it alone.

And also coppers should not be working in the same neighbourhood where they grew-up, where everybody is a friend or family member. So if a copper grew-up in Castries he should be stationed in Vieux-Fort etc..

That is smart let an officer from Castries work in Vieux Fort and separate him or her from their family and add transportation expense and living expense to the officers pocket very brilliant like that will solve the crime situation.

Bring back the British to do what!!!! That money could be used to give equipment, provide training and technology that will take us ten thousand years to acquire and by then technology would be so advanced it would be ridiculous. The police are expected to work miracles with children making children who form and join gangs and figure living fast is better than working hard. Do your work as parents and train your children in the way that they should go that they will not depart from it.

when you become an officer of the LAW you are there to serve and protect the people and their communities , you may find from time to time where you feel that knowing an individual makes it difficult to do you job , you should pass it on to someone else in the department, You might do more harm if you take on the situation yourself Conflic of Interest it called

When i look at these senseless uwp ministers, i become angry more and more everyday,this guys have no clue how to ran the country. They made so much noise in opposition blaming Kenny, kenny, Kenny for crime, because all they wanted was a job. Now they got the job,all Frederick did was to make a big show about a two week peace and love football competition funded by the Tiawanese and he say he solved the crime in Castries, what a joke. Now he is crying saying he cannot do it alone. How he is alone when he has the whole government machinery to work with. Now another one, Mayers asking the police to reclaim the city, another joke. So in 2 1/2 yrs. these jokers are in officers, they came in saying they had all the answers for crime, now they are saying the police was not in charge of the city, so they have to reclaim it. I want to know who was in charge or who they gave charge of the city or country all these years? The police should also raid these ministers because their comments.

When the workers were marching peacefully because of King fore par or stupidity, they could have ordered the the police in droves to harass the workers,whiles the criminals were left on their own to take over the city. I heard frederick saying he is risking his life, to fight crime. What has he done to fight crime? The same Frederick who use ran all about in the ghettoes before the election to bluff the people because he wanted their vote, was not afraid for his life then, but now he is a minister he is afraid of the same people who had so much support for him.

Guy Mayers should know that the police are the root to the many crimes on the Island.
Why should the the media be blamed for someone expressing their feelings? HTS has the right to inform,educate and entertain the public, so if in doing so the public express thier thoughts, then why blame the press.

This feels like the citizens are being stripe off their "Democratic Rights", I think it is time for Saint Lucians to stand up for what is right...Their Right to Freedom,Guarantee of rights & Freedom,Freedom of speech,Mobility rights,Equality Rights,Democratic Rights and Legal Rights.

The ones to be blamed are the stupid police service....look how long they have been taking adventage of the service and the uniforms. They all think that once they are in that uniform thay are above the law,

It is time for the poeple to let them know that it is not so.

Mr. Mayers this one is for you. Try to look deep into the police service before you authorized them to take back the country. you will see the pain and suffering they are going to cause.
"I beg you please"..... Think hard at this.
