That is one of the reasons why this government will have to go, they are to arrogant to listen to the voice of the workers. What is in Herman, a man with no experience or qualification in prison work, he is the man Mayers want. Mayers himself do not know anything about security of the state, therefore he should hear the voice of the officers who have decades of experience in prison work.
I believe this government promised us to solve problems in this country and not to create it. But is seem they take pride in creating problems in the country, since they can into office, it is problems after problems. St Lucia has become a problem country.
Maybe if you can tell the government the problems you have, they may be able to slove some of them for you, as you seem to have a lot that you are waiting on tbe opposition to solve.
The problems i and all St Lucians have is we need the country to be moving again, it is at a standstill now. We need the new hospitals that was started by the SLP to be completed also the forensic lab, to much MURDERS go unsolved. We need all the problems at PRISON, POLICE, WASA, COURTS, REGISTRY etc, etc to be solved. We need our roads to be improved, we want our country to be as clean as when the SLP left it etc. We want all these ministers who we are paying to get to work.
Only one hospital SLP started is the mental hopsital... so don't bring any HOSPITALS in that. UWP started the one to replace Victoria.
As clean as SLP left it with high murder rates and the roachomel money.

When did uwp started any hospital? We all know one hospital was almost completed and the next one was about to commence. Where were you when SlP was making all the ground works for the new general hospital? By now both hospital would have been built, if these jokers were not in office. Since these slackers are in office St Lucia is on a backward slide. All you senseless uwpeeees can do is to make stupid comments, like "they making the mental hospital for them to move in." We must realise the politicians do not really need our local institutions because they can fly over seas for treatment. We must see the amount of mad sick young and older people we have in the streets of St Lucia. So lets us be serious. Talking about murder rate, can you tell me it was Kenny or the SLP who cause people to kill people? The murder rate is no better now, so tell me who is causing it now? Kenny tried to do something about it, he brought in the British cops to help, he built a new prison, he built many new police stations, he hire many new cops, he equipped the cops with many new bikes and new cars, he was building a forensic lab to solve these murders etc, etc. What has your uwp done? I strongly believe Rochamel was an investment gone bad, it was a hotel to bring jobs to St Lucia, we still got another hotel to be built in it place. We cannot keep complaining about that, it cannot be reversed, we must move on. We have a government in place, they should start working.
Politics is BS.
I agree politics is BS, but in a small country like St Lucia, if we make the wrong choice and elect a government like we have now the our whole population will suffer. So we must keep an interest in politics.
Explain what is so wrong with the UWP.
If you do not know what is wrong the uwp either you are not in St Lucia or you are not interested in what is happening in St Lucia.

I will tell you what is wrong with UWP. We have a Prime Minister with the mental capacity of a nine year old. Thank God he is not the one making any decisions, although those making the decisions like Issac Anthony are no big stars but I guess they will do considering it is UWP in power. What is wrong with the UWP, one minister who got cabinet to call his home a hotel to prevent him from paying customs for his imported furniture, he later paid customs after the Labour Party took the government to court and got the court to throw out the cabinet conclusion which compounded that illegality. That same minister sold patients records in canada, did not pay rent in St. Kitts, went to the bedside of a young lady who was viciously beaten by a high ranking member of the UWP and tried to pay her to shut up. The jury is still out on whether he is a doctor. You want to know what is wrong with the UWP, ask Fredrick why he took his own government to court, why he broke a customs seal on vehicles which were impounded without any state authority, why he paid to a woman at Corinth thousands of dollars for shooting her son, why he wanted to appeal a privy council ruling that he should pay, why he transfered Terrance Leonard, ask Guy Joseph, what interest he has in the company building the Babonneau
Road that he was driving their vehicle and police had to take it uder him, ask him who got bribes in the WASCO deal that nothing can happen with that company up to now. Ask the agriculture minister how much of the taiwanese money is invested in his personal farm, ask Marcus Nicholas if the next thing he will do is to throw a chair at the speaker of the house and ask him, Estephane and all the other UWP Ministers to account like Jeanine Compton for the 1 million dollars from the Taiwanese. You still want to know what is wrong with the UWP well come to the market steps.
If you can see things impartially then tell me now what is wrong with the SLP. Both have pros and cons.
The diference between the SLP and uwp is the SLP made it share of mistakes, as ALL GOVERNMENT DOES, but THEY WORKED, they developed the country by leaps and bounds. The uwp on the other hand has done only mistakes and scandals and very little or no work at all. That is why the uwp will never win an election in St Lucia again.
I guess the verdict will be out in two years time.
Anybody with a right mind will ever believe, that St Lucians will ever vote ther uwp back in the next election?
