I possitively believe that for west indies cricket to get back to its original standard Chris Gale has to be replace as captain.The only person I possitively feel that can bring about this change is Daren Sammy.Sammy as captain is going to revolutionize West indies cricket in the same manner that Clive Lloyd and the great Vivian Richards did,Sammy has the spirit and the ability to bring back cricket happiness in the west indian public.In order for Sammy to be successiful the whole of St lucia has to support him just like the whole of Antigua supported Richards.

We have to learn to think critically and sense able before we write or talk. i am a St lucian who love my country and i love Sammy just as much, i would also love Sammy to be the West Indies captain. But Sammy as it is now, CANNOT bring back west indies cricket. Sammy might be a better captain than Gyale but he cannot revolutionize west indies cricket. Cricketers do not become great, or win games by chance, they become great by PLAYING A LOT OF CRICKET AT A HIGH LEVEL, you must be playing cricket to perform at the highest level. We cannot compare Lloyd and Richards etc to our present team because those players played county cricket in England all the time, that is where where they fine tuned their cricket. I want to ask those west indians critics. Where are the west indians cricketers playing cricket? I know Gyale is playing some 20/20 cricket in India, but that is only the shorter version of the game. Where is Sammy playing cricket etc? I find the west indians are doing very to stand up at the highest level even though they do not play cricket.
