You listed a whole lot of good things this Christian denomination, a man made organization which is no way connected to the unseen God or Christ have done for the world and St Lucia but all these doings are merely a smoke screen to conceal their breaches of human rights (abominations) which are no different from the psychological tactics used by the militaries of conquering nations (Nazis), organized crime (Mafia, Drug Cartels), organized religion(Christian and Muslim missionaries) dictators, etc.) to get popular support from the people.
All the good deeds you listed cannot make up for the crucades, the inquisition, widespread sexual perversion and many other violations including false indoctrination and coersive mind control throughout history.
Religion started merely as a form of social control, at a time when there was very little in the way of law and order.
In Christianity, the ten commandments and the teachings of jesus can be viewed as attempts to control through fear i.e. fear of divine retribution should an individual err into "godlessness". In Islam, al'quran provides a framework and rules for daily living, and how an individual should behave, in almost every respect.
In early western civilization, priests and rulers both held enormous power, and were, in some respects almost interchangeable, given that they both wanted the same thing: a respectful, law-abiding populace, dedicated through a system of belief to maintaining the status quo - in short, the privileged used a combination of religion and politics (though to a lesser extent) to retain their status.
Peter was no pope. Stop spreading these falsehood. The catholic church was not formed 2000 years ago. You have no proof for that. I respect the rights of others to believe what they want, but to believe a lie when the truth is out there is abominable.
The word Pope is an invention and cannot be found in the Holy Bible. Jesus did not start any religion; He said "Go ye into all the world and preach the word, he who believes will be saved...." the bible is not preached in the catholic church. They perform a whole bunch of staged stuff, but the world of Jesus Christ was spontaneous, He never performed miracles the same way around. There is so much to be said, but I'll stop.

Where was the Catholic Church during slavery days when we were uprooted from Africa?
