Air travel crucial to our survival

Secondly, the cost of implementing a ferry service should be invested into upgrading the airlines and providing more frequent flights."

Is this really true, that a ferry would not work in the Eastern Caribbean. Maybe we should also look at how much the respective governments have spent on LIAT over the past 30 years.
