The big question is, who will your Mondesir beat to win the VFS seat? There is nothing as somebody nearly win a seat, you loose by one vote, you loose. And your Mondesir will loose again, if he has the guts to go up again.

It is better to have tried and failed than to never have tried at all.Failure is only a fact when you give up.Everyone gets knocked down.The point is ,are you man enough to get back up.Dr Mondesir has proved that he is.

What does this headline mean ?

I do not like this soucere like , maypuis like approach.

Does this mean that Mondesir has no principles in that he can go for either SLP or UWP or Independent ?

Is this just a means of pushing some party to support him ?

I regard myself as a good acquaintence of Mondesir. We have not spent enough time together to be called friends so I do not like when articles about him are written with such ambivalence. He deserves to be put in a better light.

So I am really interested in understanding what the writer means by the headline as with a good leader I think Mondesir would make a brilliant Minister for St. Lucia.

If mr mondesir is sure a brilliant minister and he is still willing to contest the seat, so why he is not a minister in his present government? This government has so many mediocre ministers like Ass in james and his deputy, Ass tar fan, Guy Joseph, Guy Mayers, King etc, etc. Why was he left out? We need ministers with substance in St Lucia.

To start off why would doc. U Mondesir allow himself to be promoted by "lion I"? Doc is an honourable man and will do himself justice by disassociating himself from such people. Who in the Flambeau Camp in Vieux Fort forgets what happened in the last elections...I guess “Lion I” is looking for another opportunity.

People are not stupid, Dock is a good man but not cut for politics...he has served and will continue to serve us well as a physician.

600 plus votes defeat is substantial in Vieux Fort considering Hillary Saltibus got 1000 plus votes in 2001 for the UWP.
