What do you expect?.....Y'all voted for the stephenson king government. They are showing y'all that they dont give a damn about y'all!!! look it flambeaus!...hahahahahha
I first read about the terrible water situation in D.South in an article appearing in the Voice some time ago. Some fella from the LPM who I am told will contest that seat lamented about the state of affairs there.
It's a shame that no one ever did a thing for these people. Now you have their own government putting them through more misery. What kind of world are we living in??
Lovely Story Voice--Thank you for making this front page! Thank you mr. D'auvergne for trying!
I live in the Valley myself and i am more than furious with what's going on with water here. We have endured months without water, 6 months sometimes, and Wasco still wants is to pay monthly bills-ha ha!
What's worse is that we do have so called " ministers" or " representatives" to plea to the Gov't on our behalf. What i realise is that a zombie on the sidewalk can possibly do a better job than those elected!
the gov't is playing with FIRE--this is the same valley whose residents blocked off the Castries-VF highway in the early 90's as a form of protest. I see every reason for a repeat...keep ignoring us while messing with our lives, civil rights and development!!! Keep doing it!
Bend over people (like King for Wyclef).....I think you just got screwed by your good old government. I'm surprised though that this story is only being discussed on the voice and no other media. I guess to these others "small" people don't matter. SHAME
I find that very strange there are uwp supporters in St Lucia, a party which has taken St Lucia to backward and downward slide, they have EVERYTHING in limbo in the country, even carnival, tourism, crime, employment, their investment is HOPE, what a shame. Only bias and people who profit directly in the uwp support them. Anybody was is a critical thinker and loves St Lucia will never support the mess that passes for government in St Lucia today.
That was a really dumb move on the Government's part. It appears the Government is more afraid of d'Auvergne than the people. Unless a way can be found to bring water to the people then the people will find a way to get rid of the UWP MP for the area and d'auvergne might well benefit.

He would never have given the interview if he weren't seriously thinking of running. The drama begins. Again.
Really poor behaviour if they blocked this as part of political strategy. Boy, poor people can never win in Loosha.
It would have been nice though if the Voice reporter had contacted the Prime Minister to get his side of the story.

I don't that the government is that stupid.
Would love to hear King's defence.
