This is the sad becoming of St.lucia where not even calling the police is hopeful. The poor man waited in death for the police who never showed up.wtf!

This evening on the news the Police Chief said that "this one incident" would not shape public opinion. Who is he kidding. I have been a victim of crime and called the police 5 times and no response. My neighbors called also- No response.. an hour later, they came. I just thank the powers that be that no life was at stake in my situation. There have numerous incidents when the police have been remiss in their actions. This is the norm, not an exception, Mr. Francois.

I hear Francios say one incident of not responding will not erode all the progress they the police have made. How can a commission take a murder so lightly by calling it an "incident" as if that is nothing, just an every day thing. Go to HTSSTLUCIA.COM and hear for yourself. What progress is he talking about? When the police are walking the ghettoes, the criminal are moving out in other ares robbing and murdering people. The police are still on their merry way being rude and not responding to people who need help, is that the progress he talking about? You see we are to quick to to take praise when there is a little calm, so we sit back relax and get back to our olds ways.

The Commissioner of Police has my support. One bad incident should not erode the progress already made. By the way an early report said the victim was found naked? This element must be thoroughly investigated and not left hidden by neither the police nor newspaper reports. Micah's failure to touch the issue in this article suggests a cover up of significant proportion. Let's be open in this country,eh!

this is very sad ... i heard that whoever it was who answered the phone at the police department, told the caller let the person who is in danger call on their own ... that's sad and disappointing - we need some vigilantes!!!!
