it's always good when our politicians can put aside the political harangue and mapwis and recognize the good that their counterparts have done.

Also deserving of credit were Sir John Compton who negotiated the first grant of $440K from the World bank to set up the liberalization process in motion; Adrian Augier who served as the first project coordinator, and Vaughan Lewis who played critical roles both as DG of the OECS and Prime Minster.
