This poisonous "night-mare" with all its dirts, cements and God knows what else, should not be in a residential area.

Having said that, I blame the powers that be to allow this cancer to spread the way it has.

Where is/was the plans for this area from the Ministry 15 or even 20 years ago?

Now, that same Ministry, who perhaps gave the owner of this place the 'go ahead' is against him now...some things just never change!!

This is a health and environmental hazard in a residential area, which in the real world could not happen. Once again the issue of Zoning comes to the table, (residential, commercial, industrial, tourism, residential commercial mix, etc) in St Lucia it’s choc a block any thing and every thing goes no structures and legal backbone to support legislation.

OOH where is the DCA…another story, a tooth less tiger to the rich and influential and an enforcer of the poor. In this case forget that, there is no insurance service or fees or other potential services there to negotiate, there to busy in Soufriere & Vieux Fort.
