You'll never need the Hewanorra expantion because if this shit keeps up. you'll all be sittin on the side of the road eatin bananas. Once they find out about an unsafe destination thay stop and it'll take years to bring the tourists back, if ever.

Note to Ms Sarah Peter .... "MRS" Berthia Parle, and not "MIss" Parle (being politically correct).

As for the story ... this is not good for our fair Helen at all. One of the ways to stem our current crime flow, is to begin with Parent Counseling.

Too many children having children with hardly any parenting skills.

Too many children competing with their "parent(s)" in a lax lifestyle.

Many of todays "parents" (mostly single "mothers" do not give their children the direction and education they need. By "education" I mean - in life style and life time education. I could go on and on here.

I hope, and I think, that such a counseling department exists, and/or have the personnel and resources (from the government ministry who guides this department?????) to give guidance to these hapless people (the "parent(s)).

If it starts from there ... then there is hope that our crime rate will wan. It will not stop entirely, but at least, it will be kept down.

I know all this is easier said than done - but it should be given thought and experimentation. Also, this will not stop the crime spree in an instant; something like this will take YEARS before some achievement is fulfilled - maybe a generation - unfortunately.

In the meantime we shall have to bear the consequences- mostly stemming from poor parenting of some of our youth coupled with poor educational skills.

The police and government are not able to do everything.
