My interpretation of the constitution
states that "A person with a criminal conviction within the Commonwealth is debarred from serving in the house"
Mr. Bousquet can rightly state that his criminal conviction was not within the Commonwealth, but in the USA.
People of Choisell we must ask ourselves if we want a person with a criminal conviction to represent us. What example does that set for the young people of our village.
Some guidance from the Labour party and the electoral office would be appreciated.
