You seem to have been "wowed" by the speaker. In as much as this may be an opportunity, it is also a killer of dreams.
I am yet to meet a St Lucian who has been successful pursuing this venture; the James' included. It's always someone from another place who have been at it way way longer than they have.
I was sold and invested as a young person. I dreamed big. However when I decided to pursue one of my dreams of getting an education, the James' frowned upon it. They made it seem that this was the only avenue out there.
I lost a lot of respect for them. Rather than encouraging me to pursue tertiary education they made me feel like I was wasting my time. Now 10 years later I have no regrets. I am happy with my decisions, have achieved a great deal in my life.
Though not yet financially free (burden of student loans), I can say that I am more successful than their son (we joined about the same time; were schoolmates), and will soon be more successful than them (financially, since that seem to be their measure of success).
I am glad with my choices; looking back I have no regrets. Of note I did learn a lot from those conferences, team building, confidence building. Will I do it again, no. The pyramid nature makes a success story unlikely. Ask the James' (still pursuing that dream). If they have yet to attain the level of the speaker, then how/when do they expect you to (when you're at the bottom rung of that ladder)?
It's a numbers game. The James' need to establish International contacts. They need to contact and recruit people from the Asian countries who reside in St.Lucia, and encourage them to recruit in their country of origin and community. That way,the St. Lucian seed will be planted in that country and will naturally continue to flourish.
Nobody is saying that you should not pursue your educational and professional dream. You should however, continue to plant the St.Lucian seed in the community in which you resided when you were pursuing your degrees, as an extracurricular activity. Perhaps today you would have already surpassed the James'.
No one wants to deny you your due success. I am sure the James' know who you are, and are proud that their nurturing have propelled you this far, and wish that you would be proud to use your name instead of posting as anonymous.
We are a small community, and need to constantly extend a helping hand to one another including our former school-mates. Unity is strength. God bless. einglis38@gmail.com

How can you surpass someone who is ahead of you in a pyramid scheme. You seem to have limited or no understanding of how Amway works
