It was a great event. Congratulations to the group of committed and dedicated men who marched through the streets of Castries in support of father involvement and family strengthening. ONLY THE COMMITTED ONES SHOWED UP. It is sad though that this important march had to compete with so many events. Among the events was a motocade in the northern part of the country hosted by the SLP representative Alvina Reynolds who has, on several occasions, added her voice to a need to focus on issues pertaining to the family. However, her inactions to support males and families on that day was sad.
The church, serving as one of our moral agents of change needs a strong scolding for their inaction as well.
You are speaking about the absence of Alvina Reynolds for this 10,000 men match (which was attended by less than 200 men!! Sad!).
You remain silent on the the issues of the airport, moving a jailbird to porch offices in the tune of 1.6 million a year, having a drug baron as a cabinet minister, having an unethical person as a minister, some one who sold his patients medical records for profit, an unelected government minister who lied under other...yet you see it fitting to berate Alivina for not attending your match!! Freaking bias!!
Oooops, Alvina did that. It appears that a spirit of individualism and selfishness is in the air. In my humble opinion, I think that Ms.Reynolds needs to quickly engage in some damage control, and possibly provide some type of support or donation to the cause heralded by the 10000 Men march. I agree with the first blogger, Ms. Alvina is one who has added her voice for stronger families. She now needs to show it in action.
People let's support initiatives that target our families.
You have said it right Blogger #1. However, Blogger #2, you have apparently unintentionally place Ms. Reynolds in the same category with the group of corrupt, inept and selfish mongrels on the UWP. I am proud to say that I one of Alvina's supporters but she erred on Sunday. I am not the only who feels that way other supporters of the SLP especially women voiced and are still voicing concern over Ms. Reynold's actions.
Yes, the 10000 Men march had a low turnout but there was a huge turnout of committed men, women and children. Ms. Reynold's missed that opportunity to have her motocade march to the Mindoo Phillip Park on Sunday to support father involvement in families. If only Ms. Reynold's had the foresight to do the above that would be great political mileage for her. But, the past is the past. Let's now focus on the future.
I heard one of the main organizers for the march, Dr. Julietta Raymond say that they will be convening a men's conference soon. It will be a good idea if Ms.Reynolds can do some damage control and support the initiative. I am imploring Ms. Reynolds to get in touch with the committee to undo this huge damage since Ms. Reynold's motocade among others contributed to what Blogger #2 indicated about the low (less than 200 men) turnout. Oh, by the way, more than 200 men marched through the town of Castries and many more joined them at the Park.
We will get there Ms. Reynolds. Do whatever it takes to do some damage control. I want to see the back of Ezekil.
It appears that Alvina Reynolds is more about herself than serving the people of St.Lucia.
Is this the young lady who claims to be as a social worker, an educator and whatelse? We need to select persons who truly care about the people and good governance. I do understand that we all make mistakes but this type of mistake holds do excuse for the SLP candidate for Babonneau.
Blogger #2, two wrongs does not equate to a right. The alleged wrongs of the uwp government should not serve as premise for inexcusable actions for other leaders whether they are with the LPM, SLP or NDM.
Her next action (whether to engage in damage control or otherwise) will determine if she is a politician of the people and for the people.

Correction: para 2- who claims to be a social worker; this type of excuse holds no excuse.
