Soufriere has been neglected and suffocated due to tunnel vision economics and narrow political interest.
And today, this is jeopardizing our nation and elected officials who are letting narrow and self-representation take precedence.

Under SLP, no new initiatives were introduced but to fatten the boys and them. Nothing was built to develop social engineering for the enhancement of human capital.
Both UWP and SLP do not care about working families, and should I be wrong, kindly show what have they done to improve the lives of the people in Soufriere and St. Lucia.
All the while there exists caretakers, district representatives and intellectual butlers serving the interest of those in power.
As a result Soufriere and St. Lucia have been neglected and to date suffers from degradation.
There must be change that puts people first.
Change with a human touch that strikes a decidedly different tone from arrogance, nepotism and entitlement.
Until such time we're in trouble!!

Have you read the article “Are there more lunatics at large than in an asylum?” in the Letters & Opinion section in this newspaper?
Has Chasnet just found out about Souferere? Where has he been, does he not realise that his ancestors and that of his wife have colonolised the area for years with little or no investment or improvement in the locals quality of life.
What is he promising more of the same continued domination and exploitation by a next generation of slave masters
Chasnet will be spreading his family wealth in drinks and chicken take it then tell him to sorte la - we are no longer fools the descendants of slaves have learnt and cannot be fooled by the white man no more!
White domination and exploitation is over no more Soferians open your eyes dont be fooled by beads , mirrors and the bible , or chiken , beer and a dollar - please people in Souferie dont sell your self short / tell chasnet to return to the family estate and leave us alone.
