Good article. Were the SLP to get into power in the next elections they would do just what the liberal political so called "elite" think is their due.

In your name they will borrow $400 -$500 million in the next two years bringing the National Debt up to $2 billion and spend as they see fit without any real results.

Now that they have seen what the corrupt few in the UWP leadership have done they will not spend as much time covering up their own level of pocket filling. After all if St. Lucians can accept the UWP then why not thge SLP with 85% of the corruption ?

They will continue to follow the liberal politically correct social and fiscal policies that are presently bankrupting the US and Europe. Riots in London, downgrade in the US, unemployment in Italy, Spain, Greece and Ireland. 17% unemployment for black men in the USA.

Unfortunatly the educated class of the Caribbean are true socialists of the left. It is all about them and their personal agrandizement promising what we do not have and creating an entitlement class with no sense of responsibility.

St. Lucia in 2013 after whatever clowns are placed in power will be no better off than they are today.

#1 you know so much and you are so good, you can even predict what the SLP will do WHEN they returned to office. Then why don't you form your party and form the government, we live in a democracy the race is open to everybody. Then you will take St Lucia to the glory land. That is one of the reasons why St Lucia will never go farward, some of us just like to sit on he sideline gossip and criticize everything and not willing to do anything to help.

I agree both Tori Fatal and #1 should team up to form their political party and the government to take St Lucia to a heavenly kingdom. Instead of just criticizing.

@4, you are back with your usual rum shop BS talk again? Boy you ain't tired of sounding like Jouk Bua, Rick Wayne, and Tim all in one? You are high on something or what? Had too much ganga to smoke today?

Knowing all too well that the stakes are high, but still there is time, as a people to take a leap from where we are today.

Doing nothing is most dangerous.

St. Lucia is not ready for true change. We get our liberal mendicancy attitude from the University of the West Indies graduates that become politicians and even the University graduates who come from the liberal left collages in the UK or USA.

Even an "uneducated" Stephenson King is fully influenced by the American and local leftist leaning media who have all sheparded our downfall as a nation.

We continue to attack with legislation, laws and our personal behaviour - the Judeo Christian heritage that advanced nations like the USA and UK before they themselves began to attack this heritage.

Look at the riots in the UK. The young mostly black men and women who rioted were doing it out of pure pleasue and malice. These children of the mendicancy class produced by 60 years of liberal dogma have no moral ( Christian) compass to make them susceptible to guilt or shame.
As a writer in the UK said:

"If you live a normal life of absolute futility, which we can assume most of this week’s rioters do, excitement of any kind is welcome.
Most have no jobs to go to or exams they might pass. They know no family role models, for most live in homes in which the father is unemployed, or from which he has decamped. ( AS IN ST. LUCIA)
They are illiterate and innumerate, beyond maybe some dexterity with computer games and BlackBerries. 9AS IN ST. LUCIA)
They are essentially wild beasts. I use that phrase advisedly, because it seems appropriate to young people bereft of the discipline that might make them employable; of the conscience that distinguishes between right and wrong.
They respond only to instinctive animal impulses — to eat and drink, have sex, seize or destroy the accessible property of others.
Their behaviour on the streets resembled that of the polar bear which attacked a Norwegian tourist camp last week. They were doing what came naturally and, unlike the bear, no one even shot them for it.
A former London police chief spoke a few years ago about the ‘feral children’ on his patch — another way of describing the same reality."

This is no different than the marijuana smoking, lazy incompetents that we are also producing in the Caribbean and St. Lucia thanks to the same liberal policies of SLP and UWP Governments.

Does the government of St. Lucia represent its people? Yes or no? If yes, count how many idiots, semi-literates, goons, buffoons, and jailbirds there are in the government, including the deputy speaker, speech writers, and supporting talk show host media personnel on both radio and TV.

Is it not that a majority of idiots who selected and voted for these people to run and be their representatives? Yes, or no?

Can you argue that those who voted for such riff-raff like the GOOD Master with his hands at the back of the puppet prime minister, are smart?

Is it not that the riff-raff voted their favourite riff-raffs and idiots into office?

If you answered yes to most of these questions, then St. Lucia is made up of a majority population of idiots. Then when looking for a government and country full of idiots which voted them in this is it. We are it. St. Lucia is idiot country! Q.E.D.

Both UWP and SLP do not care about working families, and should I be wrong, kindly show what have they done to improve the lives of the people in Soufriere and St. Lucia.
All the while there exists caretakers, district representatives and intellectual butlers serving the interest of those in power. As a result Soufriere and St. Lucia have been neglected and to date suffers from degradation.

Is the LPM seeking the votes of idiots likewise?

Yes or no?

If people vote sensibly, and that is not by accident, how would one call such people idiots. Now let's see how they vote next time around.
