Maybe this time you can talk to the chamber for at least five minutes to give your proposals for the future of our (desperately need a change) country. Pur jab nou!

I have just read the leaked WIKILEAKS cables from the united States Embassy, Bridgetwon, Barbados and I find some cables and particulars very intriguing, interesting and revealing.
I have always known that John Compton was never the kind of "good" man some made him out to be.

I hope more Stt. Lucians get to read as much of those Cables as they can. It gives one a clear iidea of how political rats out to destry someone will proceed, no holes barred. Nonetheless, it appears clearly that officials at the Embassy, were dealing professionally with their work; and saw things for what they were.

From my own analysis I now ask myself the following questions:-

Did Compton have a clear person in mind to be Prime minister of St. Lucia at all costs?

Who was that person?
Did Compton fit that person within his Cabinet during his administration in 2006/2007?
Did Compton rely heavily on that individual?
Did that individual give Compton much advice?
Does Compton feel that persons to be a Prime Minister in St. Lucia must have pedigree?
Hopefully one hopes John Compton was not duped.
Was that heir apparent to have been chosen by John Compton to succeed him, a close friend of Terrence Leonard, the Comptroller of Custms.

Was that heir apparent also a "very close friend" of Leonard's now spouse?
Who introduced Leonard to his second [new] spouse?
Was the man John Compton planned to take over from him as Prime minister at Terrence Leonard's recent wedding?

Who was Terrence Leonard's bestman Or was it father giver at his wedding?

Was Terrence used by more than one persons for their respective political agendas whose interests served to become allies in one form or another?

I was propmted to ask myself these questions, as a result of what I have observed and from information read from two of those leaked cables which I will refer to hereunder.

Quote" Since his first interaction with US Embassy Political Office [POLOFF] Leonard has ardently talked about bringing Frederick to justice.

He has consistently claimed his reasons are solely for the sake of justice and the good of St. Lucia.

It seems however, that this investigation has become a PERSONAL VENDETTA for TERRENCE LEONARD.

He once admitted to contending against Frederick when the two were in Secondary School together.

As sch, it appears that Leonard's willingness to discredit the current administration, including King is a sincere threat, as Leonard might see such move as the only way to force justice against Frederick.

Subject:St. Lucia Housing Minister Richard Frederick Held For Questioning.

SUMMARY:
St. Lucia Housing minister Richard Frederick was questioned on June 18 by St. Lucian Authorities for his alleged involvement in customs duty evasion.
After 6 hours, he was released and asked to return on July 18 for furher questioning.

Contacts stated that the Drector of Public Prosecutions is anxious that evidence recently received under the US -St. Lucia Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty is not strong enough to CHARGE Frederick.

These new developments in the four-year investigation of Frederick appear to be a POLITICALLY MOTIVATED ATTEMPT BY PRIME MINISTER JOHN COMPTON AND HIS ALLIES TO DISCREDIT FREDERICK PUBLICLY AND PREVENT HIM FROM BECOMING PRIME MINISTER AFTER COMPTON'S RETIREMENT.

While PM Compton is a wily political operator, he is playing a much weaker hand, with more than half of his own Cabinet aligned against him.

If not convicted of a crime, Frederick may be able to deflect the public embarassment and use his personal popularity, as well as his wealth, which he allegedly gained through money laundering and DEFENDING NARCOTRAFFICKERS to extend his political career despite Compton's maneuverings.

Doing anything at whatever cost all for power and money never pays well in the end.

The obsessed "cable writer" is bent on dicrediting the admittedly dubiously ethical d'auvergne and trying to expose Lennard. As a voter I do not really care that D'auvergne had political ambitions and that he used lennard blah, blahh.. welcome to politics. personal vendettas play out in the political arena world-wide. What I do care about is the bunch of white collar and black collar criminals that we now have governing our country. One is guilty of financial crimes and other whose hand is dirtied by his crooked illegal deals while calling out hypocritically, who jah bless no man curse!! And still they are shackled to power and is clingly desperately on.
