Why should (non-federal) American taxpayers, who on average receive only 6 holidays per year, agree to any kind of financial aid for St.Lucia where its citizens receive up to 15 holidays per year to spend on the beach?

Some of these articles..

I can appreciate decent writing, good thought process, etc, especially if the story is made up. To try to incorporate the Ras in there and then tie that back to our St.Lucian people addicction to patois is a bit wrong in my view.
patois is not only spoken in Jamaica. Antigua, Domnica, St.Vincent and other islands speak it as well. It's like saying, why do you speak Spanish? You've never been to Spain, Mexico, etc.

I think these articles should first be edited for substance before being the source of brainwash for your readers. Think before we publish garbage!

The article was not about demeaning the creole language. Infact nowhere in the article is creole mentioned. He was merely stating why some 100% born abd bred st lucians who have never been to Jamaoca speak with a Jamaican accent. Simple. Same way some St lucians go to New York for two weeks abd come back with ab American accent.

Piece of advice before you criticise try to actually understand the information. Its surely ignorance and quick to judge based on personal narrow opinions like yours that should leave St Lucians with no doubt in their mind why the country is in such a disgusting state.

Really sickens me. Good article writer.
