If Monday's address, by Stephenson King, is an indication of his series of weekly address, then I say, "toot too boo shay".
The stupidity SK spilled out on Monday, is that worthy of the office of a Prime Minister, "may oui san honte wee"?
More of what to come...? Monsier, bye chien tete, et puien lar-chay tan.
Mr. Stephenson King is obviously a high profile coward. He has never engaged in a series of televised press conferences with the media at large. He is either petrified at facing questions from the community or uncomfortable in that position. He therefore lacks the primary qualification of being a leader. How could we allow this person to represent our country in his present capacity. Tell King to put is talk where his courage is and face the media without reservation. Tell King to stop hiding behind the camera and show the public that he can face the nation.

We need to really ask ourselves, and the Question is can we trust this prime minister to be an effective leader when he looks weak and mostlikely cannot articulate a message.

So King believe he will just come and coat all kinds of rosey statistics and just bash the opposition, in his so called address and everything will be alright in the morning. That is enough, it will put food on the poor people table and they will all re elect him and his cowboy gang to office again. If La Boo and King had any sense they would have realized that this 1st address made King more unpopular, than he already was, because if they say St Lucia is #1 in the Caribbean for investment and a place to do business. Where is the investment they attracted to StLucia in nearly 5 yrs? They cannot show not even one. King want to quote stats saying St Lucia did so well, yet he cannot qoute where one new job was created, people are only lossing their jobs. We are not talking about the little two weeks part time footpaths jobs of the Taiwanese. Nobody can sustain themselve on a job that last for about a month. You know the longer these felloows stay in office, and the more they open their mouth the worse it gets for them?
Would the government allow the opposition equal time to rebut the electioneering propaganda that King will be putting forth on the government controlled radio station and NTN? I hope the St. Lucian people demand fairness because that would give the UWP an unfair advantage, bearing in mind it ALL the taxpayers of St. Lucia whether red eyed or jaundiced eyed that pay to upkeep these media houses.
No matter how he tries to spin it Darnley LaBourde is simply insulting the intelligence of St. Lucians by claiming that this national electronic campaign is an address to the nation. Please.
