My friend welcome to the world of university, I am a final year student and I have seen alot. Sadly I have seen alot of young people throw away a priceless opportunity in the name of alchol, fun and friends. Am sure one day in retrospect they will say I had fun but wasted precious time that i will never get back. Yes you can have fun at university, but it must there must always be balance between work and play. None must never outweigh the other. Just as I was advised when I begun my university journey my advise to you is enjoy the moment, make new friends, enjoy the new opportunities that will come your way.Do see new places and try knew things, but always remember and focus on what you left home for in the first place, your education. Always come back to that central point, and trust me, when you see that you have accomplished and make yourself and your loved ones proud, you will be happy that you maintained a level and remembered your purpose at university.

University in my opinion is not all about studying. It is a journey. You find yourself at university. I am a double major in Psychology and Political Science and a Biology minor. Any opportunity I get (provided that it does not conflict with my schedule) I party. And you know what I have a 4.0 GPA.
'Party Hard, Work Harder" I always say. You would be surprised to find that those "party goers" probably care more about school than yourself, and put A LOT of effort into it despite what is portrayed.
For the love of it we are all young.

P.S I also took a loan for school
So?

The road to success is paved with distractions.

First, know yourself. Second, stay forcus. Once you achieve this level of awareness you will be successful.

Hahaha. Ronald you funny dread. In any case. It matters what school you at. Public, private, religious, large, small, city, town..bla bla. But the "What's your major?" does not fit into this convo. It would have been better to help her get safely to her dorm room. Seeing you wanna be a good Samaritan and all. That's what I would do. Pleasantries come later. Bless up.

P.S. This real funny. lol
