This is such a good idea, and it should be all the time. i found that the young people i worked with did not read enough, subsiquenty did not write well and spell evenmore badly. on Face Book, they engage me in chat with "YH". stop doing that I write back, greet me properly. We need to help them to like books, and my idea of books as friends, always have a book with you so you can stop and read, or read on the bus,in lunch time,in the toilet even, at least 10-15 mins at a time. Keep pushing this ideauntil I come back, I will take over.

You should see my literacy month fotos from last year, the students really enjoyed it and the older ones felt left out because they were not invited to join in. I really aimed it at Forms 1-3, Opps, I know better for next time.
