I AM AFRAID I CANNOT CONDONE YOUR MEANDERINGS. sOCIALSISM IS ALSO ABOUT WORKING TOGETHER, A FAIR DAYS PAY FOR A FAIR DAYS WORK. NO SELF RESPECTING SOCIALIST WOULD WANT PEOPLE TO BE POOR, THERE IS ENOUGH IN THE WORLD FOR EVERYONE TO HAVE THEIR BASIC NEEDS MET, THAT IS A HUMAN RIGHT. A SOCIALIST WILL ASPIRE FOR EVERYONE TO HAVE A PRODUCTIVE LIFE AND NOT EXPECT HANDOUTS. PEOPLE WHO CAN'T CONTRIBUTE BECAUSE THEY ARE UNABLE E.G. PEOPLE WITH SEVERE DISABILITIES ETC, SHOULD BE HELPED AND SUPPORTED BY THEIR SOCIETY. nOW WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS ARGUMENT? PEOPLE IN POWER DECIDE WHO CAN HAVE AND WHO CAN'T HAVE; THAT IS NOT A JUST OR FAIR SOCIETY.SOCIALISM DOES NOT EXIST IN ST. LUCIA BECAUSE BUSINESS HAS THE MONOPOLY, AND A FAIR PERSON WOULD ENSURE THE WAGES WERE FAIR, NOT AN INSULT AS I FEEL THEY ARE, WAGES SHOULD ALSO ENABLE PEOPLE TO SAVE AND HAVE A SOCIAL LIFE AFTER ALL THE NECCESSARY BILLS WERE PAID. THIS IS ONE OF THE HIGHEST COST OF LIVING COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD AND THE DIVIDE BETWEEN RICH AND POOR IS MARKED.CAPITALISM ONLY WORKS FOR THEM WHO CONTROL THE PURSE, THE REST OF US CAN ROT IN HELL.
