Yes, we are very quick to commend the so called law enforcers when the seem to have eliminated those we consider menaces to society. But who is addressing the continuous violations of Human Rights as perpetrated by the St Lucia police? I am speaking of the man who got arrested in Micoud and dies shortly after...it's been said that he hung himself. That is a lot of bullshit! How does a man, hang himself in a police holding cell? When a person is arrested and is placed in custody, their belt is taken and also their shoelaces. How then does a man hang himself in a police station? Police are becoming judge jury and executioners and we all sit back and applaud that behaviour. It's time for these gys to be held responsible for their actions. I know there are some bleeding hearts who will say, that they are doing their jobs, but when people die in their custody that means they are not doing their jobs
Nobody asked them to take the lives of suspects. A man is always innocent until proven guilty...it's the law...or is it still?
