Brillant move MOE. This is a very cantankerous woman from my observations via the media. There are so many positives in schools and yet the media continues to give this woman prime time coverage.

You must stop the crap. The MOE was tardy on the matter and the Minister acted as if he did not care. By "referring" the matter to the Ministry of Health and Human Services you ignore your responsibility thus showing no concern for the child's welfare. The MOE is responsibility for enforcing attendance. By the way what has happened to the medical insurance for students and more what has happened to the money which were collected over the years? Shouldn't the injured child's medical expenses be met from that fund?

The St.Lucian media flames up stories to get people watching the news or reading the papers.Good journalism does not warrant that lack of expertise.People have jumped on the bandwagon criticising either parties without knowing what exactly is going on, and I blame the media. It is in the public best interest for journalists get their facts right before reporting or writing hear say or gossip.

Marcus Edward, the Chief Education Officer, wrote this article as a press release. It seems that he too has not shed any more light on the issue. He has even compounded the problem with the direction that he took. The real problem is we Saint Lucians play too much politics in our daily interactions. We do not see things as they are but on the basis of whose side we fall.
