TOP COP: “CHANGE THE RULE”

Seems more judges needed if only for a limited period to clear backlog.
So what happens if the 180 day rule is changed - how will that affect all those people - victims and accused - from long outstanding cases? What will be dealt with first - the new cases to abide by the new rule, or the backlog? Victims have right too.
Seems the justice system needs to face facts and not pass the buck but accept that they need to change things, which may mean asking for help. This doesn't mean losing face.
So how can those accused of murder get bail? The next thing is they're on a boat to another island....and that's the end of the case??

The bloody lawyers and magistrates need a complete overall. Too much corruption. In the past all kinds were brought in to serve as magistrates to clear the so-called back-log. Then here we are gain.

Anything with lawyers will always be DYSFUNCTIONAL; the reason being; those folks with those law degrees; pretend to know; what they don't know; and want to put their ugly hands in every stew that's cooking in Saint Lucia. That's one of the reasons why this country is where it is.
