Why ask to be paid more when the amount of work is the same?

Me want a job where I could get more and more pay for less and less work ...

I wait for the strikers to get fired and then I shall apply for their job. Heh, heh, heh ...

From what I gathered yesterday don't look like it scored.

I see that you wish to be the big JOKER IN THE PACK, right? Well JOKER, here's the reason... people demand more pay because PRICES RISE and their old salaries LOSE VALUE. I hope you know that even if some workers lose their jobs, the government will NOT give a JOKER who does not understand such simple economics a job...so you'll be left scrunting anyway. Donna.

What servant are you: public or private, that you know so well???

Why is it then that not much of the teachers and public servants etc supported their own unions yesterday.

Boy I've learnt to face it a long time ago. King eh going anywhere anytime anysoon.LOL

We can huff-puff but look like this idiot PM is here to stay.

I could not have said it any better Donna. The numbers at the protest may not be as expected but staying away from work is a means of supporting the cause. And yes it may seem like the PM not going any where but two and a half years are just around the corner and he will have to campaign to the same people he keeps upsetting every single year.

I agree with you Donna, salaries should reflect the cost of living, it is rather high in St.lucia.
