Peter, u may not be able to save King. A simple mind without a clue is as equally dangerous as a smart and arrogant politician.

We both know that King was and is not cut out for the job.

Only in St. Lucia we denigrate our own people.
We have no respect for our own. King is a son of the soil. Let us be sympathetic and stop the name calling.

Bush was also a son of the soil. Think americans were wrong in thinking that he was a leader with a very simple mind?

It's about being blut with the reality.

Seems to me that politics drives most Saint Lucians.

well said Peter. I don't know of any profession that exposes the vagaries of human nature as politics. King has his shortcomings. we can agree on that. He made some mistakes during the recent impasse with the unions. We can agree on that too. But isn't it a stretch to say the man is malicious, ignorant or arrogant? So he's not unqualified. So what? Was George Charles or Allan Bousquet qualified? Yet many who know their contributions agree they did good jobs as Chief Minister and Health Minister. Now, Isn't Kenny Anthony qualified to the max? Didn't he come across as arrogant to some? Was he being malicious when he put out all Ipa's personal business to the media? Remember that? Did he admit to making any mistakes as Prime Minister? Did he ever offer the unions a 14.5 % wage increase? Did they strike then? Let's face it folks. That dispute had less about King and more to do with politricks.
