My opinion ... to try to solve the crime wave in St Lucia (and other Caribbean islands), is to form a CARIBBEAN COALITION FORCE comprising of SSU officers from all the islands.

This force would be responsible for assisting the Caribbean territories in stamping out "drug lord territorial" and gang warfare criimes.

Jamaica seems to have it much worse than what is going on in St Lucia (for now). The "Force" would be able to assist Jamaica in flushing out the drug lords, and make them pay for their crimes. This army would be a major force for St Lucian drug lords and gangs to deal with - and other Caribbean countries.

Remember, this Force would comprise of other Caribbean officers, who have not a clue of "who is who', there would be no "buddy-buddy" system - they would be doing their "job". If our police force had no "buddy-buddy" system with the gangs - half the drug territory crimes would have been solved.

Good luck to the Private Sector meeting with the Government.
