Prudent (LPM), what do you mean that "the next government should have the right balance and experience"; that obviously discounts YOU as a new party (or candidate) whose aim is to attract new credible/political blood.
Must I remind you that you can't be an electronic politician 'cause our people are not prepared yet for challenges by remote control; come home and smell the coffee ........ grassroots style.
Prudent has his heart in the right place. I believe that he will do very well moving forward. He is very articulate and a peoples person.

All these LPM or what ever they are called will loose their deposits, all they will do is to take a few UP votes. I hope they will get a full slate of 17 candidates??????

I difinately agree. No supporter of the SLP in their right minds should be praying for LPM to get 17candidates.This thing could come back to bite us in the arse big time. Why don't we pray for LPM to fail and for us to have a straeight fight with Flambeau. Curve balls have a way inflicting massive damage when it turns its guns at you.
Are we serious? Let us at look at the reality and not look at it in dream land or fantasy. Firstly no new party can win an election in St Lucia in the near future, that is a fact. The LPM has no base anywhere in St Lucia and it will be very difficult to win a seat in St Lucia. It will be very, very difficult for the LPM to win any SLP votes. The only votes the LPM will attract are frustrated UWP and independent voters who voted for the UWP in the last election because the UWP is not up to our expectation. That will only help the SLP, that is one of the reasons why SLP will win the next election
You mean the SLP needs the LPM to win? What of if things go the other way and LPM join forces with the UWP minus Richard Frederick, Mondesir and all the bad aples? Are you not talking too fast about victory? I just learnt recently that Prudent and Spider are blood relatives. The possiblity of these two teaming up again to keep the north out of Labour hands is possible. Stop counting eggs in eggs in chicken backside.
Here we go again, you are not looking at things at a realistic point of view, you want to come up with the unrealistic word of "IF," if is not realistic. Election is next year and most serious people have made up their minds either they will not vote, vote UWP, vote SLP or vote for a third party. SLP do not need any other party to win the election because everybody know the country was much, much better off in terms of development and economic living with the SLP, than it is under this UWP government and the SLP has a much better slate of candidates that what is presented by the UWP. If i understand you clearly, you want to make us understand the people of St Lucia hate the SLP so much, they would prefer to have the country stay in the mess it is, just to keep the SLP out of office. I will tell you, the SLP is not the one suffering, it is the people who are suffering and feeling the squeeze. I have no eggs counting, i an justing you how it is on the ground. Talking about blood relatives, St Lucia is small and there are many blood relatives on difference side of the political forum. There is nothing new about that.

Before we begin to talk, i want to ask you one question. Give me some good reasons why we St Lucians should re elect the UWP? Leave SLP mistakes out because they already paid for them.
When you pay for your mistake you take a back seat and wait for the people to call you back. Kenny never did that. He has never said that he is sorry for Rochamel,Helenites, Helen Air, Cost Over run and attempting to protect Walter Francois. 3 and a 1/2 years after an election SLP is yet to carry out a postmortem on its lost. All the old heads are still the decision makers in your party. Julian Hunte, Leo Clark, Tom, Kenny and list goes on in that list of dead heads. Face it. You think St Lucians are mad to give power again to these fellas.
By the way you are in no position to decide what is important when people are taking the SLP apart. It's because idiots like you want to pick and chose this is why you can't see the faults in the SLP. Get a life!

What you must realize is, this time UWP is in government, they must show us their achievements, and what they did with our taxes. You want to talk about the re organization of the SLP, a party who had it democratic convention and all members were elected by the people. When last the UWP had a convention? We all St Lucians do not have to wait on election night to be disappointed, we are already disappointed with what we have passing as government in St Lucia today. You really believe St Lucia will be able to muster five more years of that? This government is an embarracement (spelling) and a shame to the citizens of St lucia. They cannot even produce a proper motion in the house. They wasted nearly a whole year fighting among themselves, we have not forgotten that. They have made more fore pars in 3 1/2 years than SLP made in 9. But people like you, believe St lucians are dummies, although Kenny provided us ALL with the choice of an education, we are much smarter now. Thanks to Kenny and the SLP. After the UWP have everything in St Lucia in a MESS, they will gain two more seats on top of what they have, so you say.

Yes i agree with you SLP is no better than the UWP, but they UWP promised us they will do better than the SLP did. The way we will judge that, is going around St Lucia and finding out if St Lucia is better off now than when SLP was in office. Give me your honest answer. No political party can stop crime and crime did not start under the SLP, crime should not be used as a political football. That is what the UWP did to win the last election, they blamed SLP and Kenny for crime, now they are in office crime is WORSE and they do not have a clue how to control it. Controlling crime is a process, crime cannot be stopped in one day. The SLP had a plan or on going process to control crime they build a new prison, they build many new police stations, they employed more police, they improved the transport including bikes of the police, they built a forensic lab, they help the police by employing the beach rangers, to control crime on the beach. What has the UWP done in 3 1/2 years? You will say they changed the commission, what a joke. Let us speak the truth, SLP NEVER encourage young people to murder unborn. What they said is, if the unborn will be a danger to the life of the mother, or if the unborn was as a result of a rape, or incest the mother has an option to abort the pregnancy. Is that encouraging young people to commit murder? Talking about waste, there should not be any waste in the UWP because that was one of their campaign promises, to do better so they have no excuse when it comes to waste. We know the UWP have not kept up to it promise because they have wasted a lot of our money.

GINA what is the differences, same shit just a different name. There is no perfect political parties or political grouping on this earth. Parties coming together , like what contains in the UK, to form a government is more likely to fall apart in confusion than a one party government, causing the country to loose money and time. These persons just stay together for their personal benefits instead of the country benefit. Just like we have it in St Lucia today, most of the ministers work with PM King, just for their personal benefits but they do not want him to lead them because most of them know they are more educated than him.

Back to our situation in the UK. It goes to show that people aren't as backwards in their thinking. Wasn't your SLP government of 1979a single unit. Did it not crack up? Gina you have a lot of confidence in the politicians in the UK but not as much in St Lucia. You have not taken time to understand me. It is impossible for the UWP and the SLP to be the same. The present SLP has more people of substance who could formulate and implement policy than the UWP. The SLP during there terms, show us their they worked, compared to the presented present UWP who little will to work. Believe it or not but that is the truth. Why are you calling people hacks? I never said your perfect government in the UK will crack. What i said is, history has proven that coalition governments ARE MORE LIKELY TO BREAK UP, than a single government. Who else can we vote for in St Lucia? ONE is not a party, there is only one person in that party. LPM has not organized its self as a party in St Lucia yet, as it seem today LPM does not look like they can even field a full slate of candidate. St lucia is a small country and all our lives are affected by the politicians that is in office. Let us look at the USA, Clinton was in office the country was running on a surplus, they put in Bush now the country found itself in a mess with employment sky rocking. I am not looking at my life alone, i am looking at the country as a whole. I am not fighting any war for politicians, not because i can eat well, i must not look at what is going on in my country. What about my family, and other people in the country? Talking about putting food on the table, people will hardly be able to put food on the table if we have a government who is incapable of putting proper policies in place to improve things in the country. I am thinking about my situation because my situation is affected by the politicians in office. Stop getting angry, i am in control of my life, do not worry about me.
