UWI- A Personal Reflection

Well as one who have had the benefit of both non-regional study and UWI study, I fully support the issues raised in this article.

My only concern is that whilst I studied at the Graduate level at UWI, I believe we should have been exposed to much more of the international business environment, through for example, visiting experts in their respective areas of business, as well as exposure to many more professors from the metropolis. I believe it would make for a richer experience, and move away from the insular outlook so to speak. But all in all, interacting with the Caribbean potpourri of students from the various caribbean countries was also a fascinating experience, so many similarities, yet different in many ways.

From my own work experience coming out of UWI, there isn't any that in my view we cannot match, in terms of what we can bring to the table on any matter for negotiating
anywhere in the world.
