Some Reflection needed

Samuel Peters, you sound just like the opportunist John Peters. How dare you say that Emma Hippolyte is "overly concerned" about the pensioners savings? How can an honest St. Lucian, someone with a social conscience, be "overly" worried about such a critical matter? Like all opportunists, you have not so intelligently avoided the meat of the matter, which is that this UWP government is putting the pensioners pension money in FIRE by corruptly renting from their friends and family (the owners of Baywalk are Syrians - go check out the not-so-honourable Minister Rufus Bousquet's aka Bruce Duane Tucker Federal Prisoner # 77316-012 wife and her nationality) while the Daher Derelict they bought with a golden handshake to Daher was supposed to have reduced government payments of rent, and simultaneously using the same taxpayers and pensioners monies to pay rent at Baywalk. Why don't you analyze the issues? Analyse the Daher Derelict, you are an Engineer and a so-called bright boy. What is your game, John Peters? Who do you think you're fooling, you pathetic pretender and so-called bright UWI graduate? You guys must stop trying to fool the people while you wheel and deal to build your castles in the sky. Just how the heck can someone who has any modicum of decency in their being be "overly" concerned about the future of the pensioners, huh? You better blast off to Trinidad, to the land of the bluffers, you dishonest pretender, before you are forced to join Ausbert d'Auvergne and his friends soon at Bordelais? It's now only a matter of time. Tanto, tanto.

What social conscience does Emma Hippolyte have? Samuel Peters have not stated anything that was not true about Emma. Right now Emma is counting on the dream of being elected. What she does not know is that the road to House is going to one she wish she had never attempted. Given the dynamics of the next elections I don't see her being able to keep up with the real players.

Have we forgotten...it is the habit of government to be wasteful.whether RED or YELLOW . What is needed,is a new frame work of accountability.

Strange post by blogger # 1 on a mere assumption that Samuel Peters IS John Peters!

Successive Governments have rented office space from the private sector for years so the move to Bay Walk is not unusual. But Emma Hippolyte's point is a valid one - that the protection of the savings of NIC contributors must take precedence in Government's accommodation plans. The point could also be made that the private sector has contributed half of the financial assets of the NIC.

We definitely need greater transparency and rationality in decisions regarding the long-term accommodation of the Public Services. Government should set up an "independent body" to deal with this matter to remove the any perception of nepotism or corruption.

The Baywalk move is very troubling to say the least.

Blogger # 2, you guys just like to come on the BLOG running off your mouths, playing petty politics, but with no knowledge in your tiny little heads of the issues. I like to put my money where my mouth is. I do not make statements lightly. If you have any doubt that this wonderful St. Lucian professional, Ms. Emma Hippolyte has a social conscience, I invite you to go to any of the following sources: Emma's record (in black and white on the files) when she was Director of National Insurance; OR, you can send an e-mail to the Food & Agriculture Organization in Rome, asking for an opinion on Emma Hippolyte; OR, you can ask Judge Suzie d'Auvergne for an opinion on Emma; OR, you can ask Sir Dwight Venner, Governor of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank; OR, you can even ask Ausbert d'Auvergne; It's a pity you can't ask John Compton, because he would tell you that Emma has been the most solid professional he ever knew where the management of the pensioners resources are concerned, yes, JOHN COMPTON himself, his politics aside, would admit that to you if he could. Check it out, it's not too much work even for you.

There is a very sad and at the same time very disturbing deficit in the St. Lucian character. We do not seem to appreciate the blood, sweat, and tears of the working population.

Whether we recognize it or not, not all of the money in circulation is BLOOD MONEY FROM DRUG TRADING. Some people are HONESTLY working hard to make a living. Therefore, it behooves all of us and the powers that be to spend our tax dollars efficiently by giving value for money.

But with the lack of appreciation for value, we see that even the credentialed with several degrees pay scant respect to the sacrifices made by some by frittering away treasure from the treasury.

We must stop pointing fingers and look in the mirror when we make decisions regarding who we send to parliament to represent us, such as jailbirds. In this regard, you cannot expect anything from a bag of coals but dust.

The Tuxedo Villa Affair shows very clear the MENTALITY of an ENTIRE St. Lucian cabinet. They are untrustworthy and therefore UNFIT to serve. Period.

This UWP YARD-FOWL from the TRADE UNION just don't seem to know how to BRAY for his supper. And what about the investment in REDUIT?

The donkey who brayed this article sounds like the uwp jackass from the trade union. wHAT ELSE DO WE EXPECT?

Yes indeed, that alledged million dollar payment that went to that wife of a leading UWP operative regarding the sale transacton of that old derelict DAHER building, must be top on the list for an inquiry. I hope the Labour Party knows it can not shit around this time as it did with the BLOM COOPER Findings. Some wretches/crooks must be placed at Bordelais.

I agree with you brother/sister, some of these bastards will have to spend some years in the big Dennery Hotel. If Kenny thinks he will come and play games with his lawyer friends and mess up again, he himself will have to taste the juice at Bordelais. This government is a BIG DIRTY MESS, and the people will not accept the same bull-shitting that Kenny is now famous for, when the people put Labour back in power.

Kenny better TAKE WARNING. Any blogger here who is his friend, better WARN him, and tell him to read the BLOG. No lawyer bull-shitting anymore when the people remove that MESS from the Parliament. Labour will have to shape up or shape out again, VERY quickly.

Why do you folks continue to refer to Kenny Anthony in politics. He is a dead political breed. He is one key reason why the politics of St. Lucia has turned old mass.

Don't you guys see the landscape. Get a new leader for Labour. Where is the well articulated Mario Michel? Kenny is not wanted, not respected and not trusted. Labour will continue to struggle under Kenny Anthony. I don't have anything personal against the man. We've just got to face the facts. That's the situation. He has only himself to blame. NCA, HELENITES, ROCHAMEL, EAST-COAST HIGHWAY, HELENAIR ETC ETC.
