What is JUJU saying? He had no hand in the mansion up in New York?

Notice that Hunte will not say what they finally sold the house for up in New york and how much the SLP Administration lost on the deal ?

Also what happened to the hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of furniture, tvs, etc that were in the house ? Was there an inventory ? Where did it go after the house was sold ?

Just because you have "severe weather" you do not get busted and frozen pipes. That happens because of NEGLECT. I can guarantee you that with all the so called "severe weather" that all the other houses around the Weschester mansion did not break down and depreciate because the owners took care of them. It is clear that the mission in NY under the SLP were careless of St. Lucia's money.

I am not saying that Hunte was responsible but it was clear that the SLP Administration spent money like fools and had no respect for taxpayers property.

Typical liberals/socialists who are great with spending other peoples' money.

This story might have just openned a whole can of worms. After the building was sold for less than market price there is word that the UWP government took that money and repaired the Helenites with it. Isn't this all about hypocrisy? In what newspaper or government portal have the UWP ever given an explaination of where that money came from to repair the Helenties or even that they took on a very large project of repairing the Helenties in new York. Isn't the dang they pushing on Hunte the same dang they are caught up in?

The funny thing about this UWP government is that the people of St.Lucia are questioning the terminal expansion and the rediculous move to the Baywalk mall, instead of rationalization they are trying to distort the minds of lucians by bringing up past issues so the conversation change.
Check it out? Bloggers 2 and 3 have referenced past incidents. SLP lost the last elections for their bad deeds (both real & perceived) however its time UWP takes some accountability.

Nice poll on www.stlucialabourparty.org. Pressure for the criminal bousquet!

Yeah, keep dripping your drivel all over luciantalk and on every site you can find. Yeah, is that news? No. Will it prevent Rufus from winning? No. Is SLP serious to think that it can change the story? No. It's about SLPs past deads. Your newly minted refus crusade is yesterday's news. Where the have you been.

Of course Rufus went to Jail and got elected not once but twice and mostly likely a 3rd time. Has SLP run roro factory gone out of gas?

This topic is a no win situation for the St. Lucia Labour Party.

Aside from the millions lost with the inefficient spending on accomodations for the SLP elites in New York , you also have the Hellinites situation in which one of these political elites disposed of a whole building , outside of the norms for the handling of public property.

I actually fault the UWP for the farcical Commission of Enquiry which St. Lucians paid millions of dollars for an incompetent, inefficient rediculous attempt at uncovering the wastage of taxpayers money under the Kenny Anthony Administration. The Commission of Enquiry by any standard was incapable of uncovering anything more than a chronological listing of the mismanagement of government funds. Just the timeframe alone shows it was inadequate and if it was worth the money I would have the Audit Dept do an audit of that Commission to find out if St. Lucians got value for money.

Seems as if we cannot get anything right.

No we can't get it right. The UWP by taking this money and pumping it into the Helenties without the people's consent or approval is in more kaka than when this whole mess started. Where is the accountablility here?

You'all don't get it. SLP does an Inquiry on UWP and turns around and does worse than UWP; UWP does an Inquiry on SLP and turns around and does worse than SLP. Guaranteed if SLP should win they wil set up another Inquiry and the cyle will continue. The lesson? These inquiries have nothing to do with accountability or about successive Governments learning from each other's mistakes. It's all about fooling the electorate. It's smoking mirrors, I tell you.

Juju may have bitten off more than he can chew here. Unless he kept perfect financial records of his various stints as UN Ambassador, he could be embarrassed by the facts. There are many people who worked at the UN mission during Juju's time who could say alot about his excesses as UN Ambassador.

You see now why SLP don't have any credibility on the BAY Walk Issue? They have no choice but say far away from this latest fiasco on what they might or might not have done while in office.

Politic(s) is a dirty business comprise of dirty participants. If you don't wish to be smeared, stay out of the fox-hole (toilet). I'm obliged to admit that there are variable degrees of filth among our law-makers.

The choice we have as voters are to select or elect the least 'dirtiest' in that business with the hope the filth remains marginal.
