Why should people listern to anything that SLP has to say. Both the UWP and the SLP are the same coins just different sides. Stop pushing recycle ideas and politcians in the SLP on St Lucians. They are right to ignore the SLP in its present form. Time to look beyond the SLP and UWP. St Lucia needs change Micah- not more of the same which you are selling.

Time to look at the LPM right?

WRONG!!!

I see nothing wrong with looking at the LPM and all the other M's. After years of abuse by the UWP and SLP I see nothing wrong with that!

Mr. George, as an investigative journalist, have you determined if there are any kickbacks from the owners of Bay Mall to the consignees. The possibility does exist and considering the head of the agency involved, we should not be too surprise.

Saint Lucia is the newest member country to be placed on the SHIT list AFTER NIGERIA. Makes sense right?

I concur with the 4th blogger.

Why would a minister as close to the final year in office (hopefully), would want to move to a different locality?

Why would a Minister of Government sign a 20 year contract (lease) when he has about one (1) year left in office?

This is clearly a lack of responsibility and economical sense, unless of course, somebody is in it for the 'kickbucks' and to hell with the rest of you.

Past me the LYSOL please!

ANONYMOUS # 1, why are you accusing Micah of selling "the same" to the people? Don't you fellas take time to read and ANALYZE properly? Micah has simply said here that the SLP, as an opposition party, has the right and the responsibility to criticize the government's actions. We need to forget the messenger and listen to the message. PART 1 of the message, in case you guys have not understood it (and because Micah has carefully avoided saying it too frankly), is as follows: Minister Rufus Bousquet, aka Bruce Duane Tucker, Federal Prisoner # 77316-012, is married to a Syrian woman. The owners of Baywalk Mall are Syrians. The message is as simple as that. NOW, do the analysis for yourselves. Part 2 of the message is that Bruce Duane Tucker is boldly taking away the taxpayers money from the taxpayers, and giving it to the Syrians, on a platter. This will diminish the pension funds, and pensioners will be in deep shit tomorrow; Of course with the Taiwanese millions that so many Ministers allegedly have in their Swiss Bank accounts, they don't give a damn about pensions. Brothers and sisters, St. Lucia is going down the drain, and that's all Micah is warning us about. Part 2 is as simple as that. Analyse this, and forget about Micah. As for the LPM, my take is as follows: Ask the Leader and the Deputy Leader of the LPM, both Lucian residents of New York, the following question. If Stephenson King had made them the Ambassador and Deputy Ambassador in New York, would there be anything called the LMP right now? Analyse the issues my people, and put the petty politics aside. St. Lucia is sinking FAST!!!!!! Pimpa.

Well said Micah. Lucians watch your bread was the famous quote by this very same party in past campaigns. Well we really have to watch our bread. It is really nonsensical and insane to be treating a people this way. How many st. Lucians can be hired and get paid with this extra $44000 to be paid to this private entity. Poverty has risen to 30% and government said that they have no money to hire or do maintainance to public property. However, money can be found to comfort a minority and not a few more hungry and groaning lucia stomach. Stop this please stop. It is not right to treat a people this way.

LPM is not what has St Lucia where it is here. St Lucia started sinking under Kenny. Crime and all of that comes from Kenny. I hope LPM keeps it's head on and don't go light on Kenny.

If LPM is serious they must not only attack the UWP. They should attack Kenny in the same forceful way that they are attacking the UWP. Show us that you'll not bias.

LPM must be careful not to engage in attacking and trading insults. This is an art which flambeau and Etoile have perfected. No one should try to steal their dirty little game from them. It's not wise because right now people are fedup with these two.

LPM when they opened up, their first salvo was against sameness. One of the speakers warned St. Lucians that if we continue to do the same thing over and over and expect a different result, we are acting like made people. Only mad people do the same thing over and over and expect a different result each time.

At first public coming out the LPM did not go personal at all. The speakers went to the issues. I hope they keep this up. In this way, and with a focus on a comprehensive set of steps they intend to implement on their website LPMnow.org they can transform the entire country.

The other major parties are failures, either as a bunch of crooks and crooked politicians, or as a bunch of stupid educated people who pay attention to their degrees than to the real problems facing the people, poverty, unemployment and crime. They do not have a single idea to change the course on SS St. Lucia -- our Titanic.

I am voting LPM all the way!

The proplem with writers like you is you don't have the temerity to write from the middle without sounding or showing your bias. The fact that you are criticizing one thing while you are the instrument of the same is nothing but hypocrisy.

When you started by saying "NEVER BEFORE HAS AN ADMINISTRATION"... that goes to show your bias as no different than those you are criticizing.
