Micah, I see your point but I believe the mere fact the murder took place in a building that at the time was occupied by the PM is enough to convince any clear thinking person anywhere that nowhere is safe in Saint Lucia. Remember that several embassies are based in Saint Lucia, including the UK's. The US Embassy is not far away in Barbados. Embassies routinely monitor local economic and social conditions. The way crime has escalated over the past few years it would not surprise me if a US Travel Advisory is placed on Saint Lucia soon. If God Forbid this happens it would be based less what the PM said and more what the Embassies and travel agents say. Perhaps such an Advisory is what will make us take the necessary action.

Hey Micah, take a look at your 1000Words cartoon. It is open to varying interpretations. One is that Saint Lucia is being ruled by criminals.

Stop hallucinating please. Who's bringing in cocaine into St. lucia? When cocaine is found in the United Kingdom from a yacht which sailed from Rodney Bay Marina in Saint Lucia, who's involved? Two-by-four St. Lucians?

Who escapes from a court trial when he/she blatantly insults our police officers and drives off laughing at them, as if to suggest they are fools for reprimanding them, for traffic violations. Are these the two-by-four St. Lucians doing this?

Who's underinvoicing and scheming off revenues from the Customs and hence, Government Treasury, and extending duty-free concessions meant for a hotel to their homes, and found guilty in the High Courts, but still sitting pretty in Government, as if to suggest that the OECS High Court is a joke, so the Ministers involved are still there, and earning their big salaries, on top of that, from Lucian taxpayers.

It stinks Micah, it stinks. Can't yo see, there are no laws in St. Lucia. The very Government Ministers and their Parliamentary colleagues, are LOL at St. Lucia's laws and those who enforce the Laws. Have you not seen? ST. lUCIA IS NO MORE.There is nothing left. Nothing at all.
