Why, for heaven's sake, can't the police in St Lucia catch these worthless, god forsaken bums?

This is what happens when an electorate votes for politicians who only have ideas about gaining seats and ensuring their pensions.

We will do it again. We will vote in another bunch of idiots to parliament because the young population believes that crooks, liars and knaves are the best people to lead us.

What kinds of crime fighting ideas do you expect to come from

1) a PM who agreed to leak money from the treasury with the rest of his ministers to benefit the pockets of his one of his fellow cabinet ministers

2} A PM who suggests that he know not of the existence of a drug baron deep within his cabinet, yet almost everybody knows who that person is

3) A PM who allows a known US felon and ex-convict to be his foreign minister

4) A cabinet made up of liars, like that one the Appeals Court exposed as a liar regarding the Tuxedo Affair

5) A Cabinet made of unscrupulous doctors who would sell their patients private records for profit.

Do you think ever, that this den of inequity that makes up the UWP Cabinet known to some as the Ali Baba gang have a moral compass that can guide it to fight any type of crime?

St. Lucians have placed the fox to guard the hen house and are paying for it with their very lives. While some of boowoes are getting killed sometimes, the rains of terror are falling on the godly and the ungodly as well.

Stop the party crap we inherited from John Compton who embraced all these scoundrels above into his government.

Elect decent and people with real job skills other than those who can do international begging, make millions out of the drugs trade, and win seats next time. That is the hard lesson for us St. Lucians.

The PM has to have the permission of the drug baron the real PM for everything he does and says. Some of the police are working for him. How the hell do you think we got this far?

Anonymous #2 ... seems he/she really know a LOT of the government minister's and their shortcomings. But he/she is only repeating "hearsay" mumblings and assumptions from Joe Public.

Maybe Anon #2 should
.run for political office,
.get a degree in human relations,
.study law,
.take a management course,
.get his/her hearing and eyes checked.
.get his/her brain checked as well.

Anyway ...
back to the real article at hand. I hate to say this, but I sincerely hope that this unfortunate incident is the "icing on the cake" to galganise the police and us, the people to take the bull by the horns and take those cowardly criminals off the streets.

I know this is easier said than done, but enough is enough.

It is TIME for us, the people to do our part ... bombard the police department with EVERY crime seen or known to be committed. No hiding behind the bushes anymore, no more peeking from behind the curtains, no more "it does not concern me, I do not care".

It is time, we show the cowardly criminals that we are not afraid of them. Also, use anything as a weapon to throw them off [shoes make powerful missiles, especially high heeled, or wedge shoes]. Yes, I am aware the gun is mightier than the shoe ... but, we have to start somewhere.

It is time, we the people organise "neighbourhood watches", take [and or give] simple self defence classes, organise "hotlines" to protect each other, learn how to defend ourselves in the streets. As a group, or community, they will leave us alone.

Just recently, I was almost the victim of a robbery in the Barnard Hill parking lot - quick thinking, and fast movement saved me from an attack. My mantra at the time was "elbow, bag, elbow, bag" - translation: use my bag as a weapon, and if struck from behind, use my elbows to fight. Oh, and a good swift stamp on the villain's foot helps [I read that somewhere]. When I realised I was being "stalked" - I quickened my steps, and let the perpetrator know that I was on to him - he backed down. You bet ... I was terrified like hell.

We, the people, need to fight the criminals together - leave politics OUT OF IT, our lives are at stake here [take that Anon #2]. Group action is what is needed. We must make the effort to face "the gun" with a mighty roar.

@Armchair Anonymous said...you may be right, it could be hearsay by anonymous'# accounts, but remember: IN POLITICS, PERCEPTIONS ARE REGARDED AS TRUTHS; REGARDLESS. Therefore, the PM has to re-assure the public that those perceptions by the public of his cabinets WILL not be tolerated by doing what is "politically" right.

Just for your information: sometime this year, it was alleged that a New Zealand government minister spent ($70 for a bottle of wine) over his allocated travel expenses - this was, of course, PERCEIVED by the N. Zealanders public as excessive: end result; the minister, on his own accord, RESIGNED.

Not here in St Lucia; they could catch you drugs, being a liar under oath, rubbing the island of much needed revenue (for social services) undervaluing invoices for imported goods, et al, having all sorts of characters as a government minister, et al...it is business as usual...NO WHERE ELSE, BUT ST LUCIA.

It shows. The 3rd writer is a UWP party hack. Can you trust someone who would try to contradict the facts in a law case brought before the Appeal court regarding the Tuxedo Affair, or Bousquet aka Bruce Tucker imprisonment that is on the www with his prison number on the site?

Commonsense! Plenty commonsense! That why St. Lucians have politicians involved in the drug trade in Cabinet, and the biggest joke of the day is that only the PM of the country does not know this or who that person is.

Mark jackAss sped from the police. Files lost. Case closed. Frederick underinvoiced. Custom's was removed. Case closed. Dem crooks in Cabinet tried to give a friend extra perks. Kenny stopped then in their tracks.

Do you see why we can shake hands with Haiti, Jamaica and Guyana?

St. Lucians have no shame left.

Wow! It's really great to hear that so many people sowed up at "mama's" funeral. I applaud such a grand turnout! From what I heard, even the Prime Minister and the Opposition leader was there. I have no quarrel with that, but I fail to see how much more innocent that individual was than the eight year old kid who was shot in her bed. It seems to me that only her classmates and her teachers mourned her untimely passing. Perhaps that should have been" the icing on the cake" with regards the crime situation, but it appeared that she was only a "lowly" child who was not worthy of much consideration...case closed, nobody caught, police couldn't put a finger on who's responsible and the nation went about it's business as usual. Only now we seem to be wallowing in grief preparing to throw sack cloths over our heads because "sweet", "kind' Mama has been offed by some loonie tunes criminal. Hey, a life taken is a life taken, it's just that I have no idea why we are only now realizing the clear and present danger and trembling in our shoes. Why didn't the little girl get the funeral turn out that Mama did? I didn't hear of people taking to the streets in droves and lamenting that kid's death. Nor did I hear them demanding justice for her. Sorry if I sound cruel, but it appears to me that in Saint Lucia nowadays if the victim of murder is "well to do" we are more apt to throw ashes in the air and beat our heads against all lamp posts down town. But if "Nobody's child" meets the same demise we simply accept that situation and move on. The murder of that innocent little girl should have started a massive public outcry and the Prime Minister Minister for Home Affairs and leader of the opposition should have marched in solidarity against that kind of atrocity. Instead they sat in their offices spewing garbage to the media and the nation. Now some so-called prominent individual was killed, everybody's crying foul! That is the real problem in Saint Lucia...some lives are worth much more than others. Where in God's name is the equality in this country? There, right in our presence lies a big part of the problem!

@anonymous above...Like you, I mourned the loss of a life and the barbaric manner in which this lady and the 8 yr old died. You hit the nail squarely on the head!! In St Lucia, every thing is done in the name of political affiliation or by "class" segregation.

May the the souls of this 8 yr old, and "Mama" rest in peace!

And may those cowards, lazy, good for nothing, subhuman criminals rot in hell; (as it has been proven time and time again that in St Lucia it's business as usual for criminals)...only comments from those who are charged with keeping the populace safe is "INVESTIGATION IS CONTINUING"...

St. Lucians fail to act on principle. It shows that the country does not have a moral compass. A life taken, is a life taken.

We do not do things or reward people on the basis of merit. We vote. We support. We react on the basis of family and connections.

Fair is not fair in St. Lucia. Marcus, a representative, runs away from the police. The case file disappears.

Frederick under invoices. The customs officer is sent to Siberia.

A drug lord is in the Cabinet. The PM does not know this.

An ex-convict with prison number posted on the web is elected. The PM makes him foreign minister. These are the role model for the criminals. Actions speak louder than words.

Injustice is the trademark of the UWP. Therefore, the presence of the ministers at the funeral is just for show.

Minister 'next level' is waiting for the next level, which is murder number 50. He will still come back telling stupid people willing to hear more childish crap, that we must go to the next level.

@Anonymous December 21 @ 9:09 PM

Everything you said is the gospel truth. What they don't know is that if the natives are not safe,
in their country, then no one will be safe.

WHY THE HELL YOU SAINT LUCIANS HAVE NOT BROUGHT THIS GOVERNMENT DOWN. A NATIONAL PROTEST CLOSING DOWN THAT COUNTRY SHOULD HAVE TAKEN PLACE SINCE 2007. IT WAS ALREADY BAD AND SHAMELESS. WHAT THE HECK ARE THESE IDIOTS STILL IN GOVERNMENT. GET THESE RATS OUT, AND FAST. THESE RATD ARE NO EXAMPLES TO WOULD BE CRIMINALS. THESE GUYS ARE ONLY FOLLOWING THE LAWLESSNESS IN GOVERNMENT, BUT DOING IT IN THEIR OWN STYLE, AND FASHION, IN THE SAME WAY THE MINISTERS OF GOVERNMENT DOES THEIR CRIMINALITY, IN THEIR OWN MANNER AND FASHION.

Anonymous said...

Blogger number 2 you have said all what i wanted to say. no need to elaborate or expound. I will add though, a people get the government they deserve!!!!

Anonymous said...

It is a very sick joke Blogger #2, that the only person who does not know that the head of the drug gangs in St. Lucia is sitting in his own cabinet, and that is the PM of St. Lucia. Almost every St. Lucian knows this fellow by name and profession.

What most people have missed in all this is that the drug culture is so large, and has become so accepted, and hangers-on that are so vast and so dependent, and for so many different reasons, that its leaders do not have to campaign to get elected. There are enough twisted, sick and crooked people in the various constituencies in St. Lucia to elect and reelect drug lords time and time again!

The crime syndicate and cabal called the UWP cabinet can fool only our retards and country bookies, but not the more intelligent people out there. Is it not a great shame, calamity, and pity that John Compton bequeathed to us so many thousands of idiots in the population after 30 years in power in St. Lucia, that they are more than well represented in the government?

@above anonymous...and more so anonymous, we have a local newspaper, whose slogans are "truth finders" that condones the actions of those boo-yoohs, drug dealers and king-pin, cor-bo's, convicted criminals, sellers of private medical records, liars under oaths, under valuers of invoices of imported goods to St Lucia (thereby, as a minister, he is partaking in robbing the island of much needed revenues for social programs), victimizer; ref Robby, changing the laws to accommodate, yet again, another cheating minister - Tuxedo gate, et al; and this "truth finder" even had/have the audacity to write deck deck King's speech(s)...so much for bringing his kinds of truth to light...

unless drastic steps are taken to adress the wonton crime in St LUCIA the situation will deterioate. Firstlly Iam non-partisan , however in a democracy the Minister of Internal Affairs has to be held responsible for the ineffective policy in combating this violent crime epidemic.
It would also seem to me that the government is posturing when it comes to the crime situation, tough talk no detection or convictions.
May be the best solution would be to make Richard Fredricks the minister responsible for crime. The poacher turn game keeper theory - why not the situation could not be much worse.

"The police working alone cannot be as effective as the police working with community and government support,” he said. “The government is doing everything it can possibly do within the laws of this country. It remains for citizens of all political stripes to help us in the fight to control criminal activity in our country.”

I just read the above in the star newspaper!! RICHARD FREDEICK IS THE CAUSE OF THE GANG AND DRUG RELATED WARS IN ST LUCIA...is this man serious.

I had to post here because the Star never publishes my blogs, although what I used to write were never libel!!
