THE SLP CAN CAN CLAIM ALL THEY WANT THAT CHOU IS BREAKING THE LAW. SAYING THIS DOES NOT MAKES IT SO. IT IS TIME NOW FOR THE SLP TO PROVE THAT CHOU IS BREAKING THE LAW NOT BY CONSTANT HARPING BUT BY LEGAL ACTION. PROVE IT OR SHUT UP

A whole set of freaking thieves - those UWP government ministers.

Where did Rufus Bosquet took the monies from to acquire a $2.2 million condo at Rodney Bay?

His ministerial salary CANNOT service a loan to purchase a house/condo for $2.2 million, can it, anyone?

Chinese people are deeply corrupt. See how many they have to be executed when they offend other corrupt officials of the party on the mainland?

How can Fan Chou see corruption. The man enjoys smelling his own corrupt farts in Taiwan. Was not their last prime minister arrested for corruption? Who is that bastard Fan Chou think he is kidding?

We have to commend Honourable Philip J. Pierre for having the gumption to call on the Taiwan Embassy to explain whether monies are being channeled to UWP Parliamentarians and questionable foundations without the knowledge, approval or oversight of the Attorney General of St. Lucia.

Lately, the Attorney General, who has a great deal of explaining to do, seems to have lost his spark. We can all recall his bravado on the Grynberg Issue when Dr. Kenny Anthony was under the microscope, ONCE AGAN!

Mr. Francis has lost that bravado now that the tables have turned. The Attorney General needs to break his silence to answer Mr. Pierre’s question and address his concerns. He also needs to explain to St. Lucians what is his connection to American University School of Medicine and its location in our only psychiatric facility? If he does not speak out, then we have no choice but to believe that there is merit in the analysis of Mr. Ricky Singh expressed in the article below:

Taiwan in St Lucia politics
By Rickey Singh

TWO CARIBBEAN Community states—St Lucia and Guyana—are currently in a general election mode although dates for constitutionally held national polls are far apart.
But some rather striking differences characterize their early campaigning, none perhaps sharper than that of St Lucia's ruling United Workers Party (UWP) of Prime Minister Stephenson King.

In addition to referencing election arrangements in Guyana, this analysis will focus primarily on election politicking in St Lucia as it relates to an unprecedented huge level of political funding from Taiwan.

It is a development now very much in the public domain and involves the allocation by Taiwan of some US$3.8 million a year for expenditures in the
11 constituencies won by the UWP's parliamentarians at the December 2007 general election when it defeated the then governing Labour Party of Dr Kenny Anthony.

An extension of this most interesting political development in the coming electoral battle for state power in St Lucia presents an interesting example of what should not be tolerated in the form of contemptuous foreign political interference in the domestic affairs of a sovereign state in any region of the world.

The hot point in this poisonous politics is the bizarre example it offers of expression of "gratitude" by a foreign government—namely Taiwan's—for having secured diplomatic relations with St Lucia in 2008 with a UWP administration in Castries……

Regional and international election monitors should pay attention.

Is Chou the person violating our Constitution or is the UWP group of greedy men? When a souvereign country donates monies to another country, it is my understanding that the funds becomes the property of the State receiving such donation. One can then conclude that the guilty party is not Chou but the government of the UWP.

St.Lucians must be aware that our leaders--the ones who are supposed to embrace and enforce our laws--are the very ones violating those laws.

From all accounts a group of greedy men are capitalizing on all opportunities (lawfully or not)to get rich overnight, and the Taiwanese are assisting them in that regard. It appears that the Taiwanese is simply doing their best to be a sovereign State--one separate from China. Go figure!

Thisgoverment has been in a bind all these years, Can't produce, Can't lead.and all of a certain they have monies for job.

I have a word for my st lucians brothers and sisters, Do not forget the late John Compton Tried this Many times and thats why he succeeded, Now this incompetent goverment is using the same tactic.
Now back to the late Sir John After he wins, We would see all the projects that started before election come to a halt. and the years roll on and every thing at a stand still and our people countinue to ball and complain.
Now under King, What will happen after the election, There was no money before, Who's going to pay for these project after election
What countinued effect will it have on st lucia on the long term in our economy
We need to think not just the short term but the long term.

BRING THIS UP AT THE UNITED NATIONS LEVEL THROUGH WHATEVER MEDIUM AVAILABLE.

This has to do again with leadership and the kind of persons we elect.
Mr king is not cut for prime ministership and the kind of cabinet ministers he surround is not aplus for him.
He's leadership is like a wheel barrow that's need pushing.
Unless push he will not move nor the nation move.
With the fast spending of money just before election on different constituency is reckless.
Questions need to ask is how about after election. how much will it take to maintain such project.
After such projects how will st lucia fare in the long term economy.
Are they going to borrow and put our economy in more deeper hole.
Its good to have jobs now but think of the short term as well as long term.
We've had history of such under the late decease prime minister.
Therefore leadership matters especially in this global world.

I heard Tom Chou on NTN making fun of the way control Government funds...he stated that he was able to assist with the Agro-processing plant at Fond Assau, Babonneau BUT "it did go in the Consolidated Fund". The crowd of UWPees cheered on in response to Chou's statement.

Oh what foolishness from a bunch of makaks. HOW WILL THE WORLD INCLUDING TAIWAN REGARD OUR IGNORANCE OF OUR LAWS,OUR LEADERS INCOMPETENCE and LACK OF FORESIGHT?

KING YOU MUST GO!

Is this what we are talking about? Which Chinese nations are giving us money?
The great Chinese people in the Far East have a political issue involving soverignity that we are exploiting to get funding for projects on the ground for our people. Why are we harping on whether it is the SLP from China or UWP from Taiwan.

Why are we not talking about the fact that we do not have a foreign policy in St. Lucia ? Why are we not talking about the fact that the Ministry of External Affairs and affiliated ministries are simply being exploited by a former American felon for his own purposes?
Why are we not talking about the fact that we have foreign affairs embassies abroad in Washington, London and New york doing nothing for the people of St. Lucia?

Why are we not talking about the confusion and mess in the New York embassy where a buffoon is making a mockery of diplomacy and is a diplomatic, administrative and social embarassment to St. Lucia ? This is the same buffoon that PM Compton said he would never give a diplomatic post.

Why is the NY embassy except for two individuals filled with incompetent UWP political appointments who could not run a school fair much less the international affairs of St. Lucia?

# 2 what proof? If SLP has proof why hasn't it filed a case in court to shop Chou? It's been nearly 5 years this so-called illegality has been going on. Kenny says he has an affidavit from a contractor who to me is as crooked as Tucker saying that Tucker diverted Taiwanese money into his personal accounts. But what has Kenny done with that affidavit? NOTHING. Ask Kenny why.

Tom Chou behaves the way he does because of greedy incompetent leaders who will do practically anything for a dollar.

I am looking forward to the back of King. Once a supporter, I will not give any uwp my support again. I too am a Castries North resident. Dr. Ubaldus Raymond you have my vote this time.

Only in St.Lucia
Now Tom Chow is so comfortable as a diplomat, he can say 'the so called consolidated fund" and have ministers of Gov laugh in approval.

A'm not surprise, it would be nice to know who were the ministers present.

Anonymous said...

It seems to me that the minister for foreign and external affairs is Mr Tom Chou.
There is no way, no how that this should happen.
It proves my point that we have a bunch of little boys running the affairs of st lucia, Compare to having real adult to lead.
You see why Education matters in this globalize world.

Money! Money! and more money! Is for the love of it I dont care how I get it but as long as it is money give it to me. Well Well! Is that what it has come to in St. Lucia. Where have our pride gone to? Do we still respect the supreme laws of the land "The Constitution?" What is really going on in my country. Can we please take control of it. It appears like income from drug related activities can easily be filtered into the St. Lucian society like Taiwan do without any difficulty. If government can trample over the supreme laws of the land what do we expect to happen with the many lawless citizens? Somebody please do something or else we will regret it not in a too distance future. The upcoming election will sum up whether St. Lucians unanimuosly accept corruption or not.

Please Mr WickiLeaks, can you tell us what Tom Ass sends home? Should be interesting.
