Judging by the evidence presented here in this piece, I want to sympathize with Mandy's family, but Thomas was doing what any relative would have done, defending her sister. I have heard onesided stories of the incident, but never a thorough view of the defendant's story like its been reported here.thank you dear author, now the public can have an honest debate on the case

I find it sad that a young lady ended up dead. But as anonymous said she did what anyone else would do, run to her sister's defense. Its unfortunate though that she ran with the knife in hand. I think the circumstances should be judged fairly, and the young lady be given a fair trial, and perhaps a chance to right her wrong.

Another one for the system. Sad that she may have to spend time in the system. Is there such a thing as parole in SLU? This young lady should be given a chance to integrate into society, right now. It was not premedidated for Pete's sake. I've seen worse criminals walk free after they've violated and mudered people.

Wasn't the church aware of the fued beween those two? Why didn't someone intervene to prevent this conclusion. So many questions.

Sorry just bitching...it just makes me mad how people continue to ignore the issues surrounding them. Lucians thrive more on gossip than the satisfaction of knowing that they made an important difference in someone's life.

All the bloggers are focusing on political scandals. I guess that is more important than the fate of an 18yr old who made a lethal mistake. SAD!!!

Please our Honor kindly set Miss Thomas free. She did what any sibling would do defend her sister, do not let her sit and rot in the prison system she needs a second chance in life.

Sorry about the young woman who lost her life but as I read she was in the wrong. To her family I hope you all find it in your hearts to forgive Miss Thomas. Thank You.
