Both hospitas are SLP projects, when will UWP come up with atleast 1\2 of a project?

This new hospital looks like crap. they should have stuck to the original plan and built a real state of the art facility not this watered down nonsense that the plan was changed to

Meowwww... Not sure if opposition and government listen to calypso. Not sure if any of us do so either. Calypsonians have been consistent year after year speaking for the voiceless - RW too. It no matter who in power but St Jude and de people still want to know 'where de monee gone' - no accusations just want to know we business.

......and like George eh take enough for 'de people' dey trow all de poor malaway at him in de stadium - poor Brother George. Cheers to the legendary people's/malaway champion......Meow, Meowwww.

Yes what workinprogress said is very true, I saw the lay out of the hospital the SLP wanted to build for us. It was a beautiful layed out state of art, nothing like this warehouse looking block presented by the UWP. If you look out all the structures like the schools, stations etc the SLP present to us they are all beautifully designed. All UWP schools are just like a warehouse. UWP always believe St Lucia poor people should not be accomadated in a nice place. They say the mental hospital was to big and turn it into a offshore university, whiles our poor mental patients rome all over town.

Another thing with all these delays on projects like St Jude and this hospital, which will cost us more. What will we call that, is it cost nothing run? Nobody is politicizing the cost over run on these projects, because it is only SLP who does cost over run.

People let us be fair and open our eyes, let us ask UWP what have they done with the almost billion they have borrowed.

This Beg The Question About Journalism in St Lucia. Wher are our Good Jounalist who will be able to get to the bottom of these issues to ask these goverment to Provide Numbers, Stats, Information on all such Documents and the write about it as suppose to be a good jounalist.
Then and only Then Our people will not rely on hearsay but they will be able to read for themselves.
Are these journalist that we have in st lucia is sleeping in bed with these corupt politicians for favor,
Are These the Reason Why Journalism have gone to the dogs in fair helen.
Let the UWp come out clean and say how much money they collected and who were those donors.
We still didn't get no numbers after hurricane tomas also and what did they do with all the moneythat was given to st lucia.

Ugly, factory-shelled-like building!

Is this the designs of a hospital of some sort?

This hospital's designs are a negative reflection this UWP government.

Call elections already, damn it!!

You can say that again that building look like the cargo sheds at Castries sea port. I wander what they did with the beautiful plans that were designed during the SLP rein? They are the first ones to talk about cost over run, didn't it cost more money to have another set of drawing prepared? To hear Guy Joseph in the parliament cost over run, cost over run that is all he know.

does it matter whose project, why are some of us still so stupid

beggars can't be choosers

Yes it matter whose project it is because SLP was in office, they were developing the country by leaps and bonds. There were many, many projects under construction, people could not find cement in the stores because it sold out so fast.

The UWP began making useless noise, they wanted to get into office, they made all kinds of allegations, the whole media sided with them, they made all kinds of promises.

Now they are in office all the projects and works stalled in the country, and they are barely struggling to complete the projects which was already started.

That is why we must talk about whose project it is, because UWP promise they would have done better than the SLP. Up to now they have not completed one project of note. It is almost 5 yrs and the UWP has barely started working.

Please stop making St Lucia's health issues POLITICAL!!! And to make matters worse ... the two political parties are jousting to make it just so. This is insensitive to the needy populace.

The "nay sayers" make it seem that - if I should be hospitalised, I will have to choose which party to vote for BEFORE I go to the hospital, regardless of its location. Sad - but that is how I see it!

It is UNBELIEVABLE, that my countrymen are being suckered into such bullcrap!! Instead, we should pay attention to if both the hospitals suit our needs (how it looks is irrelevant), how well it is equipped with the relevant and proper personnel - THAT IS WHAT IS MORE IMPORTANT!!! Not WHICH PARTY put it up!!! I couldn't give a rat's ass who put it up - once it is up to a high standard with personnel and equipment.

Wake up people and smell the anesthetic!!! Ooops!!

workinprogress said...

It's not up to any high standard. It has been reduced to the size of a tin or sardines and with that goes its quality as many of the things that were planned for it have been taken out. It is now back to 3rd world standard.
