Well deserved congrats to Renita and Princess and the other students for a job well done. Continue your hard work; the rewards will be great. Remember education is a mere tool to help build your future.

Thanks to the respective schools and their teachers for their dedication.

Also to the voice for that piece. All other online papers wrote but few lines; as if lacking interest in the students' dedication and hard work.

Congratulations. Wish you continue success through your hard work.

**On a side note...it is really sad to see few or no comments when positive news items are reported. We should be seeing more comments on positive happenings rather than the negative and political.

If you look at it this way, through more encouraging comments on success of our local individuals it will serve as an encouragement when they read this for them to continue to do us proud.

Well done girls!

Congrats to all the students who wrote that exam, I did it once and know how intimidating it can seem @ the time.

Thank you teachers.

I was one of those kids, I came second back then and I know how it feels, so I say congrats.
Be proud of yourselves but don't stop there because the sky is the limit. Hopefully you all will get the support you need to fly high, you are our future.

All the best.

Is that is a teacher in the picture? Theses days in St Lucia some people make it a style to show cleavage. As a teacher in my opinion, i see that as a bad example to the budding students. To make it worse i just read see is the principal. What do you think? After that observation i congratulate the students who performed very well.

Anonymous 10, 2009 6:32 AM....What are you 80 years old..They're just breasts, get over it.

I am not 80 yrs old, but there is a time and place for everything. Do not take me wrong i am a man and i love to see breast . In school, as a principal is no place for one to expose breast. That will bring a wrong signal to the students.

She has the right as a woman to feel sexy.
This is coming from a man.

In school as a principal, is no place to be sexy. ladies breast is one of her private parts and should only be shown in the privacy of their choice mate. I know people alway hide under the pretext of rights, I take it to mean if they have the right to expose one private part, then they also have the right to expose the other private parts. When the children in school see their teachers exposing their private parts, they would grow up to believing that is the right thing to do.

What private part is being exposed?? The woman has a right to wear what she's comfortable in. Its hot as hell in St. Lucia after all. So is she supposed to suffer the discomfort or stifle her right to express herself through fashion just because a few people get uneasy when they see a little cleavage? Please get over it!!

Perhaps, we can ask the Government to give them Burkas...choops.

first and foremost i would like to congratulate all the students who sat the common entrance examination this yr.To Renita and Princess best of luck at your new school and continue to work hard.
now in reply to the comment considering the principle's dress, if the individual examined the photo well enough he would've notice that the lady was properly dressed with a jacket over the shirt in question. Also there is a dress code for female teachers and from my understanding her outfit fits the code, so there should be no problem.
Lastly the issue at hand is the students' performance and not the outfit of the teacher. it was surprising that the first thing you commented on was the principle's outfit and not her ability to motivate her staff and students to get such excellent result.

Some of you might know might not know that, but this school Dame Pearlette is one of the many schools, built by the Kenny administration. That is why i want Kenny to be back to continue the good things he started in St Lucia.

i both know renita and princess very well. they are my best friends. both of them were involved in musical activity. renita played the trumet while princess played the flute.some time beore, renita told the yo magazine that she waas involoved only in swimming and ballet. she NEVEER mentioned music! i am a musician to, playing the clarinet and i myself was very surprised.!! renita was always bad at playing the trumpet- or any other musical instrument- so she dropped out of music. she wasNEVER bad at somethimg- so anything she was bad at; she would not continue it!princess on the other hand was one of the BEST musicians at the school of music. in all end of term examinatins, held at the school, princess always topped her class, with renita coming second. princess always got [.1%] more than renita.even now as both of the girls are going to the st.joseph's convent secondary school, princess is LAWAYS beating renita by a WHOLE mark. atleast renita beat princess at the most important thing, but pricess will always and forever be smarter than renita!
