Pertaining to the queen show - it is high time that CDF hands this event over to a charitable or wellness organisation (e.g. Rotary Club). Years ago, the J.C.'s organised a classy and well managed Queen Show. Then it all fell apart when the J.C.'s gave it up. Rotary, Lions, and such organisations are always looking for events to raise funds for their charities - Queen Show would be ideal for them ... if you know where I am coming from.
The CDF is a DEVELOPMENT organisation for the CULTURAL aspects of the island - and should not be PRODUCERS or HOSTS of such events. Instead they should be instrumental in handing out resources to these organisations.
*Sigh* ... when will we learn!! I'd better shut up!
