"Wake Up and Stop Being Hypocritical"?

What a joke this man is. Who is the greatest hypocrite of them all? Denys!

How much were you paid by the government to write this ridiculous articles? Is your reputation/integrity of no concern to you? Even a ten year old could see that these articles are totally senseless. Stop making an ass of yourself, Denys.

No his not. In the last 3 articles which he has written, he has made a believer out of me. Plain and simple. I don't think that the SLP is talking to people like me. I get the sense they are talking to people from space.

Waking up AND stopping hypocrisy is too much to ask from Lucians.
Not to say that Lucians are at their best when they sleep.

What this country needs is a third party made up of wise, educated, ordinary people. Community activists, former school teachers, bankers, businessmen, businesswomen and the like.. .

Power hungry politicians from both parties switch parties all the time.
I do not reside in St Lucia so I would be dumb to take sides, but I know this,
in this uncertain economic climate it does not matter which party is in power St. Lucia and the rest of the world are experiencing the worse of times and power hungry politcians in opposition all over, take advantage and even hope that things get worse so they can get the power they desperately crave and the opposition in St Lucia is no different.

Had it been the present opposition running things right now, the present ruling party would be doing the same.
The presnt ruling party won the last elections because the people were dissatisfied with the ecomonic situation in the country at the time despite all the new development in the country’s infastructure.

I remember Hunter Francois whom in my opinion was one of St Lucia’s finest statesmen, made a statement in which he said something about ‘Football Politics.’
I do not know the exact interpretation of this,.but a football game comprises of two teams.

The former Prme Minister John Compton once said ” St Lucians are Ignorant. ” At the time I was very young and naive so I and the majority of St Lucians condemned him for making such a statement. Today I am wiser, more educated and reside in a far more developed society than where I grew up. When I reflect on what he said, when he said it and in the context it was said, he was so right..and you know what? If someone makes such a statement right now he/she would be right because we are playing football in our politics…Politicians moving from team to team hoping that the team they are on will win the ballgame while their fans pay to get in the ball park, cheer and applaud and their living stadards don’t get any better.
