They came into power got a brand new prison in place, all they had to do is to manage it. These so called ministers are so in compentent, they have the prison in a mess. When will all this end? When will we get this government off our backs? Why we are paying men who does no work and do not know what they are about? Why do we make Mayers a senator and minister, when he is of no help to the country?

Maybe this speaks to a wider issue where St. Lucians just don't come together when it is needed to achieve a common goal. If we had that democratic mindset then the criminals would have organized themselves, caused a riot and broken free. I jest. :D

But it's good that the prisoners are following an honour system to keep things running smoothly.

There are men in there who have killed and raped and who will do so again if given the opportunity. This is some load of rubbish "the goodness of inmates" the minister/the government has got to get a grip. That's what they are there for, they campaigned on that issue. People need to feel secure and to know that those who have comitted crimes against them or their loved ones are being properly punished with some chance of reform. More importantly intending criminals need to know that prison is no soft touch. Common Guy! common! get a grip. You talked the talk so now walk the walk.

How can Guy Mayers get a grip when he do not know his head from his elbow.

Bordelais is not a prison, it's a home away from home.

So why don't you and all your family move in, to the so called hotel, as you and your friend Juke Bois are saying.

Anonymous said...

We're already there...lol

I know you had preferred the nastyness we had on Bridge Street, the old La Toc mental hospital, Vh and the Mindo Phillip park etc, because it was not your family working in that filth. We Lucians never want anything good, that is why we went back to the uwp,

Anonymous said...

What's nastyness? Is it even a word?

Anonymous said...

the Inmates running the Asylum.

There's only one cat watching all these mice, I feel so sorry for that cat. The mice can do whatever they want.

I know nastyness is not a word, but in Lucian style, go and have a look at what we had called a prison at bridge street and you will see nastyness. People had to work in a place where inmate excrete in a pail, all that smell had to be inhale by the officers on a daily basic. Go and visit La Toc mental hospital and you will see the same or worse, ,
nobody will ever imagine this is a hospital for sick people, where our nurses work, also some of the old police stations are in the same state, i forgot the Mindo Phillip park go and visit the toilet there and you will understand what i am talking about, and i can go on and on. SLP tried their best to give us brand new, clean facilities and still we did not appreciate that, we went back to a none caring government, so we a back to square one.

Stop you BS and go air your dirty laundry somewhere else, will you?

Anonymous said...

I know you like the dirty laundry government we have today in St lucia. I love all the clean laundry Kenny provided and will continue to provide for us after the next election. That dirty laundry should be avoided, hidden and should not be discussed in public, it is shameful, but that is the reality, which the uwp left for us in St Lucia after 30 long yrs. in office.

It's easier to look down than up.

Anonymous said...

I wish i could have looked up ay something but this government have nothing to look upwards to, only down falls and scandals.

Anonymous said...

Show me something i should up to from this government.

Anonymous said...

For starters you can look up to at least 2 more yrs of UWP rule.

Anonymous said...

If that is the only thing uwp has to look up to is 2 more years of out tax money as salary. Then this is 2 more years of misery for the people of St Lucia.

There we go again..such ignorance!
St. Lucians disrespecting each other in the name of party.
Please read the news, surf the net and learn to be our brothers' keepers or as they say in the USA that we love to emulate, be patriotic.
Enough of the tearing each other down.

When ever people are speaking the truth, same hypocrite St Lucian, would come with talk like patriotic and the U.S. as if they alone know about what is happening in the U.S. they must know that we live in a small world. and all the world news are at our door steps. We must learn to emulate the U.S, because people in the U.S are perfect, what a joke. That person must tune to the FOX channel, to hear O Rielly and company tear down Obama, they must tune to C-SPAN calling programe to hear americans tearing down politicians, they must listen to the stand up comedians tear down the politicians, where is the patriotism you are talking about. Palin left the governorship because she and her family was being ridiculed by people on the media. Lucians are quick to call each other ignorant, just because they are in the States, as if that make them smarter than others.

Yep, those Lucian Yanks, they're a different breed you know.

Zeigy said...

We can still learn a thing or two from our first world neighbours.

We should be tearing down our politicians but the way we do it here in St. Lucia is not so that they learn from their mistakes and do better next time. We call for their heads, that this one should resign and that one needs to go. Seriously with the dearth of leadership talent here in St. Lucia can we really afford to have some of our leaders resigning?

The problem I do have with Lucian yanks, however, is that in their oh so "enlightened" state they remain as ex-patriots not realizing that they could make a big difference if they came back to the island to contribute to its leadership and direction. Stop all the mouthing-off about how Lucians ignorant and come back here and see if you can develop the country better in what ever capacity you can EXCLUDING the criticism.

And please leave your arrogance behind and don't come here demanding that the PM give you big position because he owe you, then dis him about his education and then pick up and leave. You're only making yourself part of the problem.

I wander if Mondersir will be a good inmate at Boredelias as Tucker was in the U.S?

Anonymous said...

Send him to Guantanamo.

Mondersir will always get himself in trouble at Boredelias, because that is in his nature, he is a trouble maker, he got himself in trouble in Canada for patients records, he got himself in trouble in St Kitts for not paying his Land lady, he got himself in trouble in Anse la raye with the police for allowing his supporters to throwing stones at an slp meeting, he was almost arrested by Hermangil. Now he is again in trouble for defrauding the government. When will he stop?
