We Lucians always find something to comment about, that is in our gene, typical lucians. Our situation is no better sometimes, but we must find something to say. They would sit by the roadside, with not even a bike to their name but would see somebody going about their business with an old car, they would shout "garson where you going with that old piece iron, throw that garson" laughing and trying to make a big joke etc. I see nothing wrong with Yardie son, it is just the expression of him at the time the picture was taken, this is only one picture of the boy. We should be proud of Yardie for loving his son,and for him loving his father, that is the important thing now. That does not happen very often in St Lucia, a lot of fathers never take care of their children. Bravo Yardie.
Isn't it rude to be so personal about anyone never mind saying such a thing about a child. It is about time someone challenged the gun happy crazyness of the police in St. Lucia, they shoot at will wherever whenever, its a national disgrace, if police officers can't control themselves what example are they giving the youth of the country. It appears to be the maxim shoot first ask questions later, whether someone is being detained for mental health reasons or because of an alleged crime. I thought a gun was the last resort and only used if there was severe justification like you are in danger of being shot yourself, not happily shooting unarmed members of the public.
Nobody should use threatening words against another person, far less in a bar, and if he does, he shouldn't fight Police officers when they show up. Lucians must learn good manners and then Police won't trouble them.
lol..Himmel must've been bored on the 4th of July. Should've turned on the tv and watched one of the numerous movieshow marathons on there. Beach Bum, St. Lucians on the whole are just not "friendly" people like tis said so much in those tourist ads. We don't have time for chit chat and makin friends unless is a gossip0 situation. We always right and wrong and strong. The police are blown up version of the St. Lucian attitude. You apparently have never been approached or questioned by a police officer. there is no "Sir will you please...." or "Miss may we..."...Is Boy/Garcon/Woman......" along with talk that would make slave masters sound like butlers. So when a police approaches in a usually threatening way with threatening gestures and 99% of the time physically, (doesn't help that yardie has dreads neither) the arrest is very unlikely to go down incident free. I'm not saying that one should engage the police, I'm saying its very difficult not being engaged by the police. Its and entirely provacative situation on there part. The wisdom, cunning and self control needed to be apprehended incidednt free will rival the great houdini. Buh Yardie next time wen the police come an "arreter" you, "behave yourself deh boy before you get shot!!"(like the police say)..lol

Burke, You just need to give your comments, views and let everyone else air theirs. I don't even understand what you are trying to say in your comment box!!! lol.
Burke I think you have made many valid comments, so ignore the comment after yours because if this person doesn't understand what you are saying they belong to the ignorant masjority who can't see the wood for the trees, and prefer what happens now in stead of what should happen.

It's as simple as that.
