Just a reminder, Earl; Calixte got thrown out of that job in telecommunications.
Now, if you were knowledgeable enough about telecommunications, you would know what possibilities existed for opening up the sector to competition, possibilities that included a lot more than allowing a couple cellphone companies in. C&W got a good deal out of those negotiations, and one has to wonder why the government allowed them to do so.
Stop writing these powder puff pieces Earl. Taking time to stroke a man's ego who does not need to be stroked. Dont be afraid to take on the more controversial issues of the day and we got enough of them to contend with these days.
We have an inept and corrupt government in power who are looking to line the pockets of their henchmen and cohorts with that airport project. Go do some digging to flesh out the issues underlining that bizarre decision to select a company that does not meet the original criteria laid out by SLASPA. There is more in motar than the pestle.
Here is what the late Bro. George would call a "Bikini" decision and process. What is revealed so far is important but what is being concealed is vital.
We have enough writers of fluff in the Voice give us some more indepth and nuanced analyses of the issues of the day. I would not allow you to undermind your jounalistic capabilities like that. I know what you can do don't let your detractors make you cower. Nuff said.
