The new Commissioner is on the right track. Evidently,he is managing the administration and operations of the Royal St. Lucia Police Force as effectively as he possibly ca, given the mess, he has inherited. He obviously recognises the importance of not engaging in the professional swapping/licking butt/deception that so many fall victim to. He would do well not to allow either Guy Mayers or the likes of that idiot Stephenson King, to derail the Forece's operations. This State Institution is too vital and important, to be continued to be politicised whether by UWP or Labour Party. And for certain, any move to frustrate Mr. Francois by any politician as he strives to operate above board, will no doubt, go down the drain. Successive Governments have learnt that, albeit, for a short time. Their memories are very short indeed.
Mr. Francois' success and longevity depends on his operating fairly, decently and stay out of the dirty political farce.Whether UWP or Labour. They operate the same. The Officers are well aware of this. This will be your strength Mr. Francois.Let the politicians fall under their own weight. Stay clear of this. Don't fall with them. You can only fall, if you operate under a self-imposed structure of lies and deception. If you operate with truth, you will watch everyone else fall on the website. You have two good Officers as your Deputies, in the persons of Deputy Commissioners Moses Charles and Pancras Albert. Both hard-working and committed men. Keep focussed and strong.Many eyes are looking on, both here and abroad.
