It is indeed sad that journalists take everybody's two cents about things that happen and it ends up being two dollars worth of hearsay with little or no facts. It is even more sad that all this hearsay turns into the nightly news and is reported as fact. There is no due process of investigation by journalists to make sure that they have facts, just that they have something to report on the news. This is a gross injustice to the society in terms of educating and developing the people as a whole. That this type of journalism has any affect on what happens in the courts is sad but true and entirely detrimental to the justice system and the citizens of St Lucia.

This article is a quite a mind, and an eye opener ... I sincerely hope the SERIOUS journalists take the time to read and digest Mr Bousquet's article.
Also that this, even slightly, educates Joe Public on what powers we have, or not have, on casting the first stone. I know I have been enlightened.
