With a little wisdom and clever marketing, it can be done. But CDF does not seem to have such skills, and they will not admit it either.

They do not realise the gold mine they are sitting on, where they can manage activities and events to raise their own funds.

Sorry Fish, but I am not impressed with your "passion" of a speech. I just see "waste of time", where funding is concerned.

I can talk here, because, sometime ago, I did present CDF with a proposal for them to provide a necessary service to the artistic community, with a way for the CDF to raise funds. A "win-win" situation. From this I got no reply, no acknowledgement ... see? I tried.
